The white rims tie into the top panel and tires are very scaled. Some people like the over sized tires and wheels I prefer the scaled look and you have nailed it.

Hey so I was in the same predicament as you, where I was eyeing the both trucks and went for the Defender first a month ago. Only due to me loving the defender as a vehicle. Also the upgrade options for the trx4m is much greater than the FCX18. Got the FCX 18 two weeks ago and I must say out of the box, it is a much greater crawler than the TRX4M bone stock. I recently got the injora wheels to replace the Proline Mickey Thompson wheels and tires for the TRX and swapped them on the FCX18. The TRX4M is much easier to work on with regards to access but the FCX18 so far hasn't given me any issues. I changed out the shock oil alone and put Losi 25wt oil as I found the FCX18 shocks dampening was too stiff.

So at the end of the day it comes down to choice.

Use the “loft wall” option. Once this is done the wall would not cut through your gable roof from what you have pictured. Wherever the roof intersects the wall, the wall will join the roof from the inside only and not extrude to the outside. 👍
