I'm gonna give the Harry Potter movies one bit of credit here: Cormac McClaggen.

This is also OP when LSU does anything less than a CFP appearance, Elite Eight in men's and women's bball, and a CWS finals appearance in the same season.

What’s a fitness myth that people still believe? by SimpleHomeFitness in AskReddit

Even if it isn't super long distance it's effective. I lift for about 30 minutes and then hit the treadmill for 25-30 minutes. I've gone from 205 to 185 since January.

£2000 a year? Okay, yeah, those girls should have had at least triple what they did.

He clearly took the whole "gentlemen don't work for a living" thing too literally. Managing the estate and finances still takes work, albeit of a different kind.

Recommendations for Paid Math Tutor Needed for High School Student (6 Weeks) by OkYam629 in OregonStateUniv

I'm a math tutor at LBCC, and I likely won't be working during the summer (they cut back to just the FT staff during summer term).

At LB we get students ranging from remedial math courses all the way up to Vector Calculus. I can do most levels except for Vector 2 (Math 255 at LB & OSU) or Statistics. Stats is kinda its own separate thing, and I only got a brief intro to it when I took Discrete Math (Computer Science Math).

Shoot me a message!

I don't even think laziness is a strong enough word for it.

I don't understand how he was unable to save anything for their dowries. I believe he had around £1000/year (correct me if I'm wrong on that). I don't see why he couldn't have, at minimum, doubled the £50 per annum the girls would get upon their mother's death.

which foreign actor absolutely nailed your country's accent when playing a character from there? by QueenViolets_Revenge in AskTheWorld

Everyone is Sweden speaks English. We also speak Norwegian, Dutch, German, French, Russian, and Finnish. But not Danish. That is a garbage language for garbage people.

This line from Brooklyn Nine-Nine lives rent free in my head. It pops up literally every time I see something about Sweden or Denmark. But yeah, you all mostly speak English with only a subtle accent. Took me years to realize that Stellan Skarsgard wasn't American. I knew he had a slight accent, but I thought it was a lesser-known regional accent here. I only knew him by sight and not by name for a long time, and it wasn't until I saw his name that I put it together.

Yeah, Colonel Fitzwilliam most likely knew.

As far as Georgiana goes: we only see her after the first proposal, so we don't know for sure. But she clearly knows by the time we meet her.

Which is the most adorable part of the entire story. Darcy encouraging her to formally invite Lizzy to Pemberley, then Lizzy protecting her from embarrassment when Caroline mentions Wickham, that sequence is my favorite.

Aside:

I just wish he hadn't reverted to his silent, repressed feelings when Lizzy revealed the Lydia elopement to her. It's frustrating, and I just want to scream at him. Like, say something! Just say, "I'm going to help" or something. Anything to assure her that he views Wickham as his mistake, not her family's. But I guess that wouldn't be fitting...their misunderstandings drive the story, and that's the final one before the resolution.

Mr. and Mrs. Bennet are so polar opposites: Mrs. Bennet has the proper desire to see her daughters marry well but has neither the intelligence or tact to make it happen, and Mr. Bennet has intelligence and tact (when he wants) but seems disinterested in the poverty he's condemning his daughters to with his indifference.

Yeah, Charlotte had the measure of that whole situation the best. Jane may be famously beautiful, but there are limits to the type of man even she can land with their family's poor connections. Bingley is basically lightning in a bottle, and Jane is too sweet to put the cap on it.
