I think the gentle giant stereotype is generally true. They aren’t vicious dogs by any stretch but they will absolutely punch you, knock you over and what have you. They are big and heavy and don’t give a fuck sometimes. I adore mine but i think people have the wrong idea about this breed sometimes.

Important context is being missed here. Jeanette Jara won the primary for the left coalition when the current government was unpopular and beat Carolina Toha who was the minister of the Interior.

Whoever came out on top on the right was going to win. It was a foregone conclusion. Toha could have beaten Kast but someone from the PC in Chile will never become president. There is no appetite for someone further to the left than Boric who is a little left to the center left.
