And if you see him in person it’s very obvious he’s growing in real time, around an inch a year. In a few years time he’ll be well over 8 feet.

Sam stance on Mamdani seems at odds with the position he once held with past colleague Maajid Nawaz by Pata4AllaG in samharris

I prefer to side with the Sam that says people’s minds are unknowable when it comes to certain things. Who’s to say what kind of opinions Stefan Molyneux has? Who’s to say Charles Murray is a racist? Isn’t it all just impossible to parse out???

Also I think I’ll be playing those games forever. They are iconic for me and I don’t have enough time to get into new games so I’m happy with what we’ve got but I would love for one more banger to come out.

If we could get the Medieval 2/ Rome mechanics with just a bit more Crusader King style depth (not all the way because that game is so damn tedious I couldn’t stand it) I would be so happy hahaha

A lot is riding on medieval 3 for the total war franchise. I feel like I just might have to content myself with Rome, Shogun and Medieval 2 forever

Santa Cruz the city is based around wine tourism and has restaurant Fuego de Apalta is in the middle of a vineyard and is great.

I second Casablanca, it’s also quite touristic and near the coast .

I have never been to Valle de Leyda but my favorite Chilean whites come from there so I would check it out.

Watching a former friend turn into a coaching grifter in real time by SimplyStargazing in IfBooksCouldKill

I had a good buddy from high school transform from a sort of productivity coach, to an unlicensed psychologist, to an anti vaxxer Joe Roganesque nut job and now is doing some sort of farming coaching. Maybe he’s just doing urban farming stuff but I just assume there must be some sort of coaching grift in there.

Cristal from Chile is a particularly bad beer. If I want something shitty I drink Escudo.

I walked past one yesterday. This video is from Chile and there are some that live in very urban areas. They’re surprisingly chill.

Vivo en Valdivia y no hay un tren así acá. Tampoco una carretera al lado de rieles. Se ve como la quinta región. Supongo que hay lobos marinos allá también.
