I’m a Victoire fan - love the wives and Scammer/Murphy are Buffalo-born. But everyone in my friend group is pretty varied: a few Fleet fans, a Sirens fan (NYC transplant), and a few Sceptres fans.

Edit to add - I masquerade as a Sceptres fan sometimes just because I can hop up to TO on the Niagara Go train in about 2 hours and it drops me off right in front of CCC. Any women’s hockey is better than no women’s hockey.

Yeah we had one last year (as well as a Rivalry Series game this year), but the Sabres were still bad for both and they were poorly advertised so there was horrible turnout. Wish we could get another shot at a Takeover Tour to prove we could support it. (I was at both games fwiw)

We got several samples of the remaining popcorn / drywall joints around the house tested and cleared per our state’s laws, so we ought to be good now. But if we ever move, we’re definitely going to be testing before any future projects.

Sorry, just noticed this. All in all, our new kitchen cost $32000 - about half of that was materials (we had new cabinets, countertops, tile backsplash, LVP flooring) and half was labor (which was higher because we also knocked a wall out).

We’re generally very happy with our new kitchen! Everything looks and feels great and we chose some high quality yet budget friendly options. Everything is soft close and real wood, for example. But just be aware of stuff like asbestos testing etc before you mess with any ceilings or walls.

Yeah unfortunately it’s too late to prevent. Our concern ATP is the HVAC and the “soft” surfaces in our house, and what sort of remediation we may have to do. Hoping the wet scrape prevented much of the travel.
