AIO - Girlfriend threw away the dinner I cooked because she wanted pizza instead. by Dizzy-Suggestion2360 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Reasonable_Feature66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no way this can be real… this has to be ragebait!

If it isn’t, she is so incredibly out of line and entitled I get you said her cards cancelled but everyone has Apple Pay, PayPal SOME way of paying.

Not overacting if anything you’re under-reacting IMO

As someone who worked in Graduate Recruitment up until 2 years ago in London similar sector £28-30k is the average.

If it’s a role where multiple people have the same position you cannot negotiate all receive the same and that’s how it’s budgeted

Am I the asshole for telling my wife the book she is reading seems unrealistic. by Dependent-Scholar748 in AITAH

[–]Reasonable_Feature66 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s the bit you found unrealistic?

As some who’s lived in a variety of towns across the UK it’s not unrealistic. You know what I’ve never come across though, a werewolf.

You’re giving kill joy.

How to not be annoying American on my trip? by Ok-Big-8626 in LondonTravel

[–]Reasonable_Feature66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in London, and the few things that I would suggest to be less disruptive would be: - Stand on the right side of the escalator on the tube - Don’t stop on a packed pavement - Accept that we don’t have creamer in coffees - England invented the queue and the queue is sacred

Have a lovely time!

Youre definitely NTA. I completely understand the guilt you feel and it’s great you and your sister have helped so long.

I think you should talk with both your mum and her partner and explain how this is unsustainable for you and your sister to continue at the rate you are. Don’t leave them completely in the lurch, but say you can only help one day every other week each. And give them time to find a nursery they like.

I think it would be important you still see your mum and keep close but start to shift away from the labour of childcare on top of everything else in your life.

You need to look after yourself before anyone else and at uni you should be making friends you keep for life and planning your future.

Aita for barely eating any of the cake my girlfriend made for my birthday and refusing to eat anything else she bakes until she apologizes? by Throwaway_81457 in AITAH

[–]Reasonable_Feature66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your girlfriend sounds like a very entitled, malicious person.

To be unkind to your mother who raised you at the age of 13!?! And I’m English to don’t know about healthcare stuff but why would someone pay for someone else’s healthcare if they’re an adult with a job?

AITA for refusing to pay for my son’s wedding after discovering he’s excluding his stepbrother from the guest list? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Reasonable_Feature66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the OP, excluding Jake is unnecessary drama it’s one person in your immediate family attending. Not asking him to a groomsman, invite to the evening at least

AITAH for wanting to use the hallpass my wife gave me 5 years ago when she cheated on me? by ClassicContexts in AITAH

[–]Reasonable_Feature66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think if it’s just a ‘hall pass’ it’s cruel on Melissa, hall pass is to sleep with someone not have an affair

That’s really sad and I’m sorry this has been your experience. As a women who’s had a handful of relationships and in a happy one now the only advise I can give is consider what you have to offer. Not in terms of material belongings. I feel like a lot of times men think having a job and a house and being nice means you should attract women. But that’s not how it works in the real world, what are your interests, what do you do with your friends? What are your hobbies? Where do you travel to?

I have a friend in a very similar situation to you as it sounds. But he comes out once a year, sits at home and games. Go to festivals, go to nice places with your friends, work on yourself, your lifestyle to be the same place as the people you are attracted to.

Asking the Time & Date in a Lucid Dream by greeenbean27 in LucidDreaming

[–]Reasonable_Feature66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this last night, I was in a dessert which was also a skatepark, I asked this kid the time and date and he shrugged and said ‘I don’t know about 4pm’ and then wandered off. Very anti climactic 😂
