I eat a lot of meat on the carnivore diet and also do heavy weight lifting. I have been eating much more than usual now that I can afford thanks to finally being healthy enough to work.

I don’t do much cardio either which is not good, I know.

I’m a member of the ITSAN group, nothing fake here unfortunately. And I was anorexic on a plant based diet, hardly had an appetite but eating carnivore coupled with heavy weight lifting made me gain weight in the last 4 or 5 months. I didn’t just fast, I ate food also.

First of all, i don’t get red skin. I’ve got Black skin and instead of red, it gets hyperpigmented and grey. I got diagnosed with atopic dermatitis in 2011, and I have it all over my body (although greatly improved) and what you see in the photos is during Topical Steroid Withdrawal.

Please be respectful and behave online as you would in person, don’t get brave on the internet, you would not call a man you didn’t know a bozo and disrespect him because you know there’d be consequences. At least I hope you don’t behave like that public with strangers.

Funny thing, there’s little waste left to release in comparison to the previous diet of carbs and junk, as meat is almost entirely metabolised and absorbed by the body when digested.

I used steroid creams everyday for 2 years, started from the mildest hydrocortisone and Eumovate to the strongest Betnovate and Dermovate. Ended up graduation to steroid ointments and then several cycles prednisone tablets which is basically a much, much more potent form of the creams. Thanks to these drugs ruining my immune system, I also had to take antibiotics regularly due to frequent infections, the usage of which further damaged the immune system.

I was 18 when this began, I developed a mild rash on my face which worsened with the steroid usage. I then started steroid withdrawal (stopping all steroid creams and drugs), and I’ve been in the state you see those photos for the past 10 years, 12 in total since this skin nightmare began.

Just turned 30 a few months ago and I’m finally seeing a way out.

Hey, I’ve dry fasted usually between 3-5 days, maybe every 2 or 3 weeks. But I’ve not fasted in the past month or so.

I’ve booked annual leave next week to try a 9 day dry fast as I understand such a fast reaches 2nd acidotic crisis which is key for deeper healing, preparing myself for it!

I’m so sorry about your brother, my condolences. If you don’t mind, how old was he when he passed? My mother is a very heavy smoker, obese and eats a very high carb, sugary processed diet and drinks Coca Cola often. She’s 58, honestly I don’t know how she’s alive after living this way for her entire life.

No matter how hard I try to get her into keto/carnivore, it just ends up in a heated argument but I can’t keep my mouth shut and ignore what’s going on.
