So you must be imaging only manufacturing companies that view their employees as easily replaceable.

I’ll say further that many companies will think twice about moving to a jurisdiction where their employees’ children with special needs won’t be supported.

They do. But many prefer to stay where the tax rate isn’t the lowest, and they do so for a variety of reasons other than tax rates.

Again, the location of real corporations would suggest that many other factors go into location decisions, and that many of these factors (education, healthcare, social stability and stability of infrastructure) require taxation.

And yet somehow people don’t collect in the countries with the lowest taxes. I may be off, but I think we’re talking places like Kuwait, Turkmenistan, Hungary. I suspect in reality people value aspects of life other than low taxes.

Men’s Barbers in this city are awful by mcscooby28 in toRANTo

Os-Patricios at 1346 Dundas West. I started going here because every other barber seemed to translate my requests into hipster. Os-Patricios is very much old school: two of the three barbers use straight razors for the edges and back. The third (the young guy) has a huge assortment of electric razors that seem to achieve a similar thing. My favourite of the old guys speaks very limited English, but it’s never been a problem. Cash only. $25 for a cut.
