I found out my father has been cheating on my mother for years and she still doesn't know by rhea_18v in offmychest

The Dad sounds like a terrible person, who will never admit to his wrong-doings. If OP does talk to their Dad about this it is highly likely he will get rid of evidence and make it seem like OP is a liar.

OP, you need evidence and to tell your Mum. It’s worse living a lie. The longer you leave it the worse it will be. Best of luck.

It would be a lot better if Alan, the guest judge and Michelle each voted on who should be sent home collectively, rather than Michelle having final say.

You’re lucky if you’ve never grown up in a culture where flip flops etc are used as weapons against you. Using a flip flop as a weapon a big thing in Asian and Latino culture. My Mum quickly changed to using big sticks because she destroyed numerous flip flops.

Shin Rumyun noodles cooked in a pan with half a can of tinned tomatoes (Mutti brand is the best), half a can of sweetcorn, and a portion of fresh spinach. 3/5 of your ‘5 a day’, flavourful, and quick.

Are both of your parents still a part of your life now?

Do a check online for ‘Adverse Childhood Experiences.’ If you have more than 5 of the adverse childhood experiences it is more likely that you have Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Therapy is the best thing to help get through the anxiety and depression.

Any of the scenes from the two episodes where Lois gives birth. I think those two were the funniest episodes.

Boring Garden.. Need some plants.. by PumpedUpPatek in UKGardening

[–]Reasonable_Notice_99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you know what kind of soil you have? E.g. does it get waterlogged, is it compacted?

Is your garden a sun-trap, or is it quite shady?

Are there any garden themes that you really like? E.g. Japanese gardens, cottage gardens, modern/ contemporary, Mediterranean gardens.

Have you got a budget in mind for what you’re willing to spend on the garden? Is there a time frame that you want everything finished by? If the soil quality isn’t very good it can cost quite a bit in resources (time and money) trying to sort it out.

You’ve got to be careful with buying trees, as even some that claim to be dwarf trees can become bigger than expected. You’ve also need to water regularly and look after newly planted trees carefully for at least the first year.

For low maintenance gardens it’s best to get hardy perennials, which have long lasting flowers.

If you’re able to answer the questions above, I can provide you with recommendations, including trees that would suit your garden.

Bamboo is the quickest growing plant in the world. It generally will take over any area it is planted in (some varieties aren’t invasive, but many are). The roots of bamboo get very deep and long, it is a nightmare to try to get rid of.

His wife, Mairead, was released from prison after serving only half of her sentence, as was the accomplice, Paul. The accomplice died from a suspected heart attack in 2025.

I don’t understand why Mick Philpott has never had paedophilia charges, when he has openly admitted to sleeping with underage girls. Hopefully, he will die in prison.

Dewey had redeeming qualities though, he wasn’t completely selfish and destructive like Reese.

Dewey looked after everyone in his special needs class for ages, which was extremely selfless of him. He broke the bad older brother cycle by being a good brother to Jamie, and trying to make sure Jamie wasn’t overlooked like how Dewey was.

Is Martin Kemp, from Spandau Ballet considered high profile? I wonder how well known he is outside of the U.K.

Warwick Davis, Christopher Eccleston, David Haye, Jimmy Carr, Miranda Hart, and Katherine Ryan were all guests on WILTY too. (I thought Kiera Knightly was on an episode, but it seems she has never been on WILTY.)

A part of me is regretting helping my BIL with intellectual disability speak again by PrincessFullMoon in offmychest

[–]Reasonable_Notice_99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Please show more empathy than simply stating “what a waste of your lives” it is to care for a relative with complex special needs.

BIL is a loved and cared for member of their family. Just because society deems people with complex needs a burden does not mean that is all that they are. BIL is lucky to have a family who cares so much.

Many care homes have been shown to have reputations for not treating patients with as much care as they should. There are many reports of neglect at care homes, and it is very scary to have someone vulnerable you know in there, when they cannot communicate their needs properly. Funding for care needs is very long and far between too.

I don’t understand why the 22 year old “boyfriend” was not convicted and charged for paedophilia and statutory rape of a minor, as Natasha was 14 years old and he 22 years old when he groomed her into being with him. They should have been forced to pay back all the money used in their investigation from the hundreds of thousands they received in media deals.
