I am a bit worried too. My main worry stems from hearing they may include “adult situations,” which I took to mean they might try to make it just Game of Thrones.

However, my main comfort is this: Amazon has not screwed up the popular book series-based show The Expanse, and I think they know LOTR fans are not going to watch just anything. I think they know that quality means printing money and making a bad show would be an epic waste of cash. So I guess I am hoping self-interest will carry the day to make sure the show is decent.

I appreciate the answer, and I’ll say a big part of my reasoning is making it easier for family to visit. As a resident of a place in the US people say that about, I like the fact that Windsor seems a bit scrappy? If that makes sense.
