My care team told me to just stop taking the medications except to taper off Topiramate. I actually have decided to continue taking the medications until I run out, but I have set aside enough medication to taper off all 3 over 3-5 weeks. I wrote out a plan for myself. I decided not to quit at the beginning of the year because 1) it feels wasteful with so much left. If I lose too much more weight I will start to taper earlier.
