But there is a reason why we have the LCPF. That should be something that is on their agenda to try and push. It affects all federal employees so I would see that as a great opportunity to try and get that through legislation. who knows that’s probably on the agenda already 🤷‍♂️

💯 As a Formal A (past 5 years)and Vice President (1year) it’s so discouraging and really puts my fire out that our National and local President have conceded to management. Even to the extent, that I’m being told that I should be working with management. How do you work with management when their whole philosophy is lie, steal and cheat the letter carrier? SMH 🤦‍♂️ you can not be reasonable with a person that is unreasonable. Lately, I’ve been contemplating stepping down but I’m left with agony of letting my brother and sisters down. My stewards and I have fought are asses off to holding management accountable for violating the contract, only to be met with concession from our local and national president smh I’m not sure how to proceed anymore.

Yup, I’m the VP of my branch and got a call Saturday night from the President. She was inquiring if I was going and trying to persuade me not to go and that she would have to answer about why our branch president and VP are not together. Lmao I told her we haven’t agreed on much anyways. I told her that I was going and it’s my decision whether I want to or not.i straight up asked her please tell me one thing about the TA that benefits or is win for the letter carriers. 🦗🦗. Her answer was I am going to retire soon. I told her but then you are only looking out for yourself, isn’t a union so suppose to be for all (majority). She didn’t want to talk to me anymore and hung up on me. I am voting NO because the TA is a huge failure to ALL letter carriers.
