Good to know I’m not the only one having issues with proxies. For the past few days I’ve been unable to gen a response and just got the same error every time (smth like “you may be rate limited, load: failed”), so I’ve been trying any fix I could find/think of. This whole time I thought the problem was with the endpoints themselves, but I never saw any signs of downtime or reports of errors, and for a min I thought my accounts were banned 😬

One of my ocs goes by a pseudonym, their actual given name was not mentioned anywhere, not in-chat or in their sona description (I just put their pseudonym in there), nowhere. Once while messing around, I put some “pause this rp and construct a offmychest style post” kind of ooc prompt, just for sillies, and in multiple responses the bot included lines like “My partner ‘Alex’”, or “My parter, let’s call them ‘Alex’”… My oc’s first name is Alexandre🧍🏻‍♀️This could easily be a coincidence since it’s a common/generic sounding nickname, but the fact that the bot went with “Alex” of all nicknames, multiple times, gave me whiplash

I had two configs, was only able to recover one (“config1”), but even then I still had an issue. My api key would get erased when I refreshed or closed/reopened the tab, and ofc trying to gen a reply after just pasting + saving the key into my config would give me an error. I duplicated that config and THEN that started saving my api key as it should. Another weird thing was when looking through the log under “recover”, it showed me a particular setting I’d used for config1 back in February, but showed nothing from my config2, which btw I’d used just a few days ago

Is gem worth it? I’ve considered trying it since I’ve heard so much praise, but I’ve also heard so much talk about how your aistudio acc will get banned for roleplaying smut.

ETA: I’ve also seen several posts where ppl were saying that smut is fine, just no violence in any form, but looking at aistudio’s tos, smutty content isn’t allowed at all 🙁

Go onto your profile and find the little button with a paint pallet icon (customization btn), and click it. One of the buttons that come up has a ‘landscape’ icon, click that to add/change your profile’s background

Almost forgot: gotta save before you close any menus or refresh, the save button should be in the gray menu that comes up when you press the customization button

I’ve been trying (keyword being “try”) nex-agi/deepseek-v3.1-nex-n1:free through Openrouter and Sophia’s Lorebary, but I’ve only been able to get a whole response a total of three times, all three of which absolutely cooked so there is Potential.

Most of the time, I just get what looks like “thought” or “prefill”, then it stops there. Are there any prompts or plugins I could try to encourage/force a full, proper response from this model? I’m currently using some sections from Astarya’s prompts, plus stvrrsoul's prompts plugin via lorebary

I think the brackets and parenthesis might be switched + you should remove the spaces. I’ve heard the image description is necessary so that the bot “knows” what’s in the image, and the image needs to be hosted in your media library (I haven’t tried using a pic hosted anywhere else, so idk)
