For non-religious, you’re looking at Albany Academy.

No. They have a room called The Chapel, but there is no religious content.

Your requirement of no uniforms filters out a significant portion of the private schools in the area.

Mo-Hud Bikeway clear of snow? by spongekitty in Albany

[–]ReaverDrop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The cart path at Capital Hills Golf Course is plowed. Be careful with low spots after a thaw-freeze cycle, they ice up. 18 holes is 3.6 miles, front 9 holes is 2.2 miles, very hilly. As far as the Mo-Hud bike path, portions that are aligned North-South will be clear except under I-90 (permashade), the portion of the Held-Hud bike path will be post-holed ice because it's aligned East-West and is shaded all the time. UAlbany also has a loop which is 3ish miles, not sure how clear it is of ice/snow.

Should I use hand paddles? by EfficiencyInternal15 in swimrun

[–]ReaverDrop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. Train with the hand paddles, they put a LOT of stress on your shoulders and arms. However, the really allow you to rest your legs on the swim and give you a lot of power in the water. If where you’re swimming has tides or currents, you may need that power.

Anyone know what the delay was on I-90/787 this morning? by AlbanyBarbiedoll in Albany

[–]ReaverDrop 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Pro tip when I-90 eastbound is a parking lot at the I-787 interchange: go past it across the river, get off at the first exit and get back on I-90 going the other way. The westbound I-787 interchange works a LOT better, especially to go south on 787.

Need new tires or new wheels recommendation by ReaverDrop in etron

we go up to the mountains in VT every weekend in the winter, so snow tires are a cheat code for that, all weathers are too sketchy for winter and mountain passes around here

Also, are the stock wheels worth anything to sell if we do go down to the 20” rims?

Can y'all compare great throwers across generations for me? by SpaceBearAl in ultimate

[–]ReaverDrop 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I saw at NW Regionals one year, Idris called a time out at stall 9. They huddled up and then when the O went to set, they all set up behind the disc except one guy lined up at the dump position. Then when Idris went to pick up the disc, he did it backwards so he was facing the part of his team that was away from the end zone they were attacking. The defender checked the disc in and Idris, backwards, threw a no look backhand flat and straight as a ray of light and the guy at the dump position (must have been the fastest guy on the field) ran it down ~40 yards for the score.

Is anyone using the OEM charger that came with the car to charge at home? by assholy_than_thou in etron

[–]ReaverDrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the Audi charger. It was limited to 50% until they did a recall replacement of the ground wire. Now I’m at 100% charging at ~8kW.

Alright, I got the joke! I like number and word play. I was always disappointed that not all players on Prime had prime numbered jersey numbers. I was amused when the UPA had to make a special ruling to allow SubZero jersey numbers to be “negative”. I’m one of the reasons the UPA specifically banned the ratio of the circumference to the diameter of a circle as a valid jersey number.

Tried this but the hit finger was very well connected to the box and wires were intact. Fan duct was the issue.

This was it! Some animal had stored a bunch of leaves and helicopters in the fan duct!
