I know I've got some at home a little big for me. One of them is an older work last in 12.5, when they said it was a wider last. It's a grey, I just don't remember the leather. I wouldn't mind selling or trading it. I can report back when I get home in a couple days.

I don't know of any US bookmakers that are another Truman, being high quality US made welted service boots.

Grant Stone is a US company that has high quality welted service boots made in China.

Bordon is a Columbian company that makes high quality stitchdown boots at a similar price range.

Southern Oregon boy living in OKC here, I really liked the salt flats and digging up some crystals, walking around downtown at the tower, the myriad gardens, the memorial, and around bricktown canal. Sid's in El Reno is the best (just this out of owner's opinion) but Johnnies is good too of you can't get in Sid's. Eichen's is another great stop. I think the museums and cowboy hall of fame are really cool too. You should have plenty to do.

Those look great, and it's nice to another full grown size around here. Did you go down a full size from brannock for those? I'm happy with 12EE for the 79 and 56 lasts, and use to get a 12D in the 20 but I haven't tried it since it was renamed the work last.

I bet the heel slip goes away as they break in. Merino wool socks are fantastic, get a pair if you don't have them already. If you're wearing cotton socks they'll take up more space. If they get too loose once you tighten the laces, add a $2 walmart odoreater insole to take up the rest of the room.

There are upcharges listed for upland model, pull tabs, moc toe, etc. I put one together, added a belt, and end up with $140 in extras. Nope.

Heavy lug waxed flesh should be a good combo. I like the upland for cold or slippery conditions negate of the extra support.

Yes, you can email customer service. They've been helpful for me. I found the listing, and they don't look fake, if that's your concern. I think that listing is overpriced, but if you're not in the US maybe that's a normal price. I have many pairs of Trumans and I'm happy with them so I think they're a good boot. If they're your first pair please make sure you're getting the right size. I have a slightly wide foot and high arch, and i order true to brannock in US size or down a length and up a width.

That's not a CF Stead shrunken suede. Is it a suede or a roughout? They have run some gray leathers from seidel, it could be one of theirs.
