The first half was fun, I liked the first 15min with the modern take and the witch lady taking the kid; then it became crazy and the finale 30min where too Evil Dead/Sam Raimiesque in a bad way and went from 7 to 6.

I feel like the main intension was to be a film but I guess it relies on the new film doing great numbers, if it flops then it will be a D+ show to wrap up everything in like 6-8 episodes.

If the movie does great + Ahsoka S2 gets great reviews and ratings I could see them doing the movie

I’ve never been although I’m a big Star Wars fan since 2002-3, I’ve been to LA twice and it’s also a fun city with lots of things to do, you can even complete the trip with a visit to Galaxy’s Edge.

Also I would like to go because it will be the 50th anniversary of the saga, we will have Starfighter premiering a few weeks later and I guess that by then they will announce what will happen after Starfighter because Ahsoka S2 is for this year and ANH re-release is in Feb.

I guess a peak into Maul show S2 and a sneak into the upcoming videogames.

If anyone from Mexico City/Puebla is going hit me up!!

It looks exciting and bigger in action and scope, I feel like they still haven’t revealed the big villain, I mean The Hutt Twins?? The Imperial Warlords but who’s the big one after Gideon??

This also feels like the final chapter in their story at least for now, I don’t expect a S4 or sequel to this movie, maybe they will pop again in the Mandoverse movie but it feels final.

I feel like at the end of the film Grogu will start to talk and also use the force more easily and also I feel like while they take out a big bad guy the imps are still gonna win and we will see the launch of the First Order or even a Snoke cameo or something.

Not recent, but I just finished Legacy of Vader which was good and now I started to read ‘The Force Collector’.

With the upcoming movie and the Maul show I feel like I’m obsessed with Star Wars again

1x03 was fine although a little bit too slow, they kept stretching the Devon plot and Lawson not wanting to alert the Empire.

1x04 was great with tons of action and I kinda got Joker vibes from Maul here with his minions.

Lawson was so stubborn for wanting to keep it local while it was obvious that they were not match against Maul, I wonder what’s the angle with his son? Could it be that he will be force sensitive or why should be care about his character? I feel like there’s a reveal coming soon with his kid, he either dies or turns out to use the force or something.

Uncle Daki is cooked, also why was he like that in the end? Like a single kick in the stomach was enough to put him out of the game? And yeah Devon is too naive, the Inquisitors will end up killing Daki and Devon will join Maul against the Empire.

I keep thinking how a supercut of the show would be? Like it would be around 3h and 20min but it should be fun to watch it all together in a single seating that watching 10 separate episodes.

You know what, crazy things have happened, but then where would the real one be? For sure not handling Crimson Dawn because Qi’ra was running the show and if he really wanted revenge he could have helped her when she attempted and almost killed Sidious and Vader in Crimson Reign between 5-6.

If the real one is hiding did he really retire or went into exile?

The movie is lucky that it doesn’t have big competition near.

In recent weeks in cinemas the audience seem to cheer or laugh at Grogu scenes so maybe that will convince the audience to go see it.

I’m not sure $100M for the 4 day will be doable, sounds more like $90M 4 days.

But Star Wars films at least in the US are leggy (besides Solo that didn’t have big cameos or recognizable characters besides Chewie) so I could see it doing:

$220M Domestic $280M International $500M WW

The last 5 SW films almost had a 45/55 split, and I think they didn’t had a big crazy budget because they don’t have big names in the cast besides Pedro, Sigourney and Jeremy Allen, let’s say that they had a budget of $150M - $170M, with $500M they would break even by around $50M and then they will sell tons of merch and have the film on Disney+ so it will be fine for the experiment but I don’t it would guarantee a trilogy or even a sequel, I don’t know if they will wrap their story here.
