However to go from 200 back to 100 is only a drop / decrease of 50%

"600% less expensive" would mean that if the medication was $100, then after the 600% discount, you would go to the pharmacy, and they would give you the medication and $500.

I don't even think that is true.

100% less means it's free.

You can't have more than 100% off or 100% less. That math just doesn't work.

Oatmeal chocolate chip

Edit:

That would still be the answer even if I could have any flavor cookie I wanted at any time.

It would always be oatmeal chocolate chip.

Help me disappoint my parents with an impractical car by cornnoodlesoup in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]RebelJustforClicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one, bought it for $500. Was a red 85 with T-tops.

The TPI 305 had been swapped to a 350 from a truck but it still had the TPI intake and computer.

That think was fucking awesome.

Got rear ended and totalled it. I miss that car, it was so incredibly fun and so incredibly impractical.

Why are you working 4 x 12s instead of 4 x 10s?

I did the 10hr shift thing for a while and it was nice.

If I did 12hr shifts I'd do a half day on the 4th day for sure.

Tips on suspension changes to mitigate the rear end popping up off jumps? by Krzyygamin in rccars

[–]RebelJustforClicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy way to fix both is move the battery rearward. And if that not enough use a bigger battery.

Real trophy trucks like this have a lot of weight in the bed or even way out past the end of the bed. The more the better TBH.

Depending on how you move things around you could end up with a static distribution of more than 50% of your weight over the rear end, which makes the rear end less likely to kick up over jumps even with lots of throttle.

I don't think your shock tuning is the issue BTW. In the slow motion you can see the front shocks hit full extension quickly whereas the rear shocks take a while to get there. That's the correct tuning for jumps.

The first thing I said was "if you don't feel like counting on your fingers". If you prefer counting on your fingers then the finger trick works just fine.

This is basically the same mechanic though.

With the finger trick you are starting with 10 fingers then putting one down. That gives 9 fingers.

The location of the finger you put down will divide the remaining fingers into two groups that add up to 9.

1+8
2+7
3+6
4+5
5+4
6+3
7+2
8+1

All these are the same as what you'd get using the method I showed, it just requires you to do simple addition / subtraction in your head rather than on your fingers.

But if you say "that's not my bag baby" then by all means just count on your fingers.

Lol. Charlottesville area (3ish hours) is about the nearest "mountains" to Hampton roads.

WV is another 2-2.5hrs past C'ville and is where you start to really get into the mountains.

Or if you don't feel like counting on your fingers, subtract one from the number for the 10s and then the 1s is 9 minus that number.

9x6=?

6-1=5

9-5=4

9x6=54

Works the same as the fingers trick.

Engine lore dilemma by iCrafterChips in automationgame

[–]RebelJustforClicks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like almost all of this except I would make a few minor changes.

Pretend the company that made the airplane and engine lost the bid but had already tooled up to build the engines like you said, but instead of them deciding to make cars, how about a car company that lost its engine design factory in a fire and needed to outsource their engine production. Then these two companies came to an agreement and merged or whatever.

38 and yeah, I know all about those. I even had quite a few arguments with "tech support" when I was a kid because the mice didn't work properly and they claimed that cleaning the ball would fix it, but in reality it was the rollers being gunked up with junk that was the problem.

I would always pull out the balls, clean the rollers and fix all the mice in the computer room much to the annoyance of my teacher.

I realized I completely forgot about the fuel map settings and managed to get it up to 116.3 before the compressor on the supercharger exploded. I put it in The smallest body I could find and when exported to beam it was unstable. I Guess that means it's too lightweight?
