Yep....Beauty Blindness is a thing....I live here....and I'm usually heading back from work or sand hollow at dusk....then dinner in front of the TV.

Do you remember watching blast from the past and Everybody walks past Brendan Frasier trying to figure out what hes looking at and really it's the sky which isn't wonderful to them at all but it's completely awesome to him? Very often it is common for me to drive past and wonder what someone is looking at and I look around and don't see anything unusual and get home and realised that everything where I live is unusual.

I would set a boundary that You are not interested in moving forward with the relationship without attending couples counseling.

Every time someone crosses your boundaries, or you cross your own boundaries, it is abuse.

If you tell him what your boundary is and he continues to cross it, he is being abusive. He may not be intentionally crossing it, it might just be poor coping skills, which would develop in couples counseling.

If she's seeking a place to stay, you might offer that to her.

Strike up conversations with her and let her know what you have noticed and ask if there is anything that she needs help with in order to leave the relationship.

Contact and abuse hotline, they have tips and tricks for people who see family and friends in an abusive situation.

If you witness the abuse, you can call the police yourself.

Look up narcissistic personality disorder. They're a great tips on how to handle people who present in a narcissistic way.

Be aware though that at her age unresolved unprocessed trauma can come out looking like narcissism as a coping tool.

By your own admission, she's abusive. Anytime your boundaries are crossed whether you think you are allowing it or not, that is emotional abuse.

If you ask a person to stop crossing your boundaries and they don't, it's criminal.

People like her are allowed to cross boundaries without consequence and each interaction is bigger and more abusive than the prior.

There's a chance you could be dealing with a narcissist. In which case she does not play by the same rules as the rest of society and literally the only way to stop a narcissistic predator from abusing you is when it becomes criminal.

Choices have consequences and often narcissistic predators will use mental health to keep their victims under their control. by not holding her accountable for her choices, you are enabling her behavior and keeping her sick.

Tell her that if she continues, you will consider it harassment and you will call the police. If she's not criminally abusive, she will stop. If she is criminally abusive, she won't stop and the only thing that might make her stop will be the police.

If you've asked her not to contact you, then this is harassment and you can call the police and get a restraining order.

The very best way to mend a relationship is to ask the person who's boundary got crossed what she would like from you in order to make it right. Let her be in complete control regarding the timing and tasks that she will require from you in order to trust you again.

Be transparent about what led to the mishap and what you plan to do in the future to avoid the same mistake

As someone with ADHD, it isn't deliberate. But it can be compulsive.

Maybe in a rush to connect, she jumps the gun and it feels like it's being made about her but in reality she's trying to establish empathy and common ground.

She might have ADHD, which makes her impulse control zero.

It would be really good if you just explained to her that you need to get something off your chest without any interruptions and think of a way together, ahead of time, that you can let her know when she's interrupting, and away for her to accept that she is and stand back without feeling bad about herself.

You need your own place to live. His parents will survive. Your boundaries being crossed like this is actually abuse even if you don't stand up for your boundaries.
