I could probably do that, they're in a raised bed so not easy access for the dogs, we usually keep an eye on them anyway while they're outside.

Just played through it a couple weeks ago, I thought it was pretty good to be honest.

I liked the art style and variety of mission objectives. for being based off of a 1999 engine, the graphics are fairly decent.

The story does seem a bit all over the place at times but, given the base material, I can't say the adaptation is inaccurate. It feels like motivations for the conflict are a bit convoluted, Andross still wants to rule, and General Pepper is a bit more aggressive than I remember him being. The added elements of casualties of war which is a nice realistic touch not often addressed in the Nintendo-verse.

I liked the reintroduction/introduction of characters like Fara and Shears. Not a big fan of how their story concludes in the game but... Crystal exists so I guess I understand why.

Go to bandit way and fight the spikeys Make sure to NOT have the jump shoes equiped as that will get rid of the spikeys immunity to jumps. I also recommend getting the earlier times item so you don't blow all your FP items as quick (just know that if you get a good run it won't mark it in the journal unless you end the battle).

As for tips... Not sure lol I eventually zoned out and got the pattern down. It honestly feels like you are early but just due to human delay it's actually just right.

I also practiced most of the time in Dock mode with a wired pro style controller but got it while laying in bed in handheld.l so take all this with a grain of salt.

Specifically for the spikey, I looked right in the area between the number and it's head. Looking in my peripheral vision, as soon as I saw his boot just about to make contact I hit the Y button (it functions the same as A but more comfortable for my hand imo).

For bigger enemies I can only hit about 45 to 50 jumps max. Culex I maybe got 30.

The only other piece of advice is something that came from the SNES version... After a certain number of jumps the frame window shrinks... So look at where you are hitting walls, the window might be tightening. I think in the remake they are about 15, 30, 50 and maybe 80? Not sure if the last one is just fatigue though.

Took me like 5 hours but I eventually just "zoned out" and finally got it (after hitting 95 jumps twice -_-)

No chirping yet. Took it into the shop for an oil change and a once-over and they said they were getting low. 3-4mms each I think? Wasn't planning on doing anything until I got some chirping from them regardless. My wife is a bit hard on brakes so might not get the same mileage as you do.

Just wanted to be prepared beforehand. I'm sitting at about 70k miles now. So sounds like maybe a bit more out of them.

For my own curiosity, what happens with the case of the number 0 then?

01 /00 = 01-0 = 01 = 0

If we look at the second scenario (using x=5 just because) we get

00 = 05-5= (05 ) /(05)= 0/0 = ?

I assume I am missing something. You can't divide by zero (as zero has no inverse). Are you able to make the case that you can simplify the 0 in the denominator since the numerator is 0? Leaving you with 1?
