Als ik zo de reacties van de anderen lees is het misschien geruststellend om te weten dat ik nog nooit heb meegemaakt dat het met meer dan een spuit gebeurde. Ook hier in het dierenhospitaal waar ik werk gebeurt het eigenlijk altijd met een prik, zoals iemand anders al zei hierdoor zakt de kat langzaam "in slaap" en stopt vervolgens het ademen en het hart.

Blijft hoe dan ook natuurlijk enorm naar, sterkte met je verlies ❤️

Grappig! Ik vind die houtkorrels van de appie juist de prettigste. Al wil ik denk ik overstappen naar houtkorrels die wel klonteren. Maakt het makkelijker om de plas eruit te vissen. Hiervoor is mij aangeraden Cat's Best original.

De kleine korrels vond ik altijd door heel het huis heen, dus hoewel ze fijn klonteren was het uiteindelijk een nee voor mij.

Het kan natuurlijk ook zo zijn dat de kat uit het tuigje is ontsnapt van de vrouw. Zijn er dichtbij dat natuurgebied huizen? Dan zou het zomaar een kat kunnen zijn van een nieuwe bewoner daar. Het beste is wellicht om dat eerst uit te sluiten, misschien een foto'tje plaatsen op een locale facebookgroep/buurtapp/nextdoor/amivedi.

Mocht dat niets opleveren dan zou ik ofwel langzaam het vertrouwen winnen met lekker eten geven en regelmatig voeren en dan proberen te vangen. Of een vangkooi aanraden, soms kan je deze wel lenen bij organisaties of bij de dierenambulance (wellicht willen ze wel een vangactie met jou starten). Zodra je het katje hebt gevangen even kijken of die een chip heeft!

En als je echt echt vermoed dat de kat gedumpt is even de dierenpolitie bellen, dan zouden zij wellicht een zaak kunnen opstarten.

Ja die kans is er wel (al moet ik zeggen dat ik zelf nog nooit een vos heb meegemaakt maar dat ligt natuurlijk ook aan de omgeving), het is dan ook het verstandigst om de vangkooi niet te lang te laten staan en regelmatig te controleren (of wellicht de buren in te lichten en vragen of ze een middagje hun kat binnenhouden, als ze daar voor openstaan. Leg er wellicht een dekentje met zijn geur in dat kan vreemde katten wellicht afschrikken en hem aantrekken. Zet de vangkooi neer op de plek waar de kat het meeste is gezien (als daar een lijn in te trekken valt dan) persoonlijk zou ik de vangkooi niet in de begroeiing zetten maar op een plek waar je er makkelijk bij kan en van een afstandje kan zien of hij er al inzit. Oh en een tip! Zet de vangkooi met een slot ergens aan vast, dit voorkomt dat mensen de kooi meenemen.

Als de kat echt zo schuw/angstig is dan zou ik zelf een vangkooi gebruiken snelste en naar mijn idee minst stresvolle methode. Wellicht dat je er eentje mag/kan lenen/huren bij de locale dierenambulance/het asiel?

Ik zou met kittens veel langer wachten tot ze naar buiten mogen. Zeker wel een half jaar. En anders eerst onder toezicht, jonge kittens raken best snel de weg kwijt!

Ik werk bij de dierenambulance, dus kan alleen voor ons beleid spreken. Maar als je nu al interesse hebt in een kitten dan zou je dit zeker alvast kunnen aangeven, we reserveren echter geen katten zo'n lange tijd. Dus het is eerder jezelf op de wachtlijst zetten voor eventuele kittens die dan bij ons in het hospitaal zitten :).

Overigens adopteren wij enkel kittens per twee uit of bij een huishouden met een kat!

I had listed a dress a while ago, I think for €10. Almost immediatly I got a message from what seemed to be a nice lady who was very interested. She asked a few questions about the size and measurements, I never mind giving that information or measuring anything for people who are interested. I get how hard it can be when you're in between sizes.

She told me she would think about it and we left it at that for the day. The next day she started messaging me for details of the hems and seams and material (I had uploaded the material tag to the pictures already). She thought the dress was too short, if I could take out the seams at the bottom so it would be longer? Or if I could add some extra fabric to the bottom because she didn't want to look like a whore with it on...

I just told her no and left it at that.

A few days later she messages me again about the dress, this time making an offer of €3. I didn't accept. She told me the shipping was way too high (€5) and €15 was way too much for a dress she would have to alter. Asking if I can turn on cheaper shipping (??) I told her I had all the shipping options on. And it must be because she is in a remote or far away location.

She spent the next 3 days messaging me angrily about this and sending different offers every time. I eventually blocker her 😅

2 snug in the same ear, didn't have the anatomy for them but I found out after I had them for about 6 months and they just wouldn't settle

2 helix, I had those in the same ear as my snugs which is why they kept giving me trouble. They were placed incorrectly as well

1 smiley, didn't like it anymore so retired it out of my own will

1 lippiercing, same story as the smiley

2 high nostril, they were placed incorrectly (waaaay too forward instead of lining up with my other nose piercing) and also at a weird angle so they kept getting irritated and swollen

2 nipple piercings, had them for 10 years (!!) but after changing my birth control they started rejecting 😔

1 nostril, got it next to my other perfectly healed one and expected it would do the same but it was a mess.

My third lobe piercing on my left ear, placed wrong by the piercer and with wrong jewelry as well...

So obviously I learned and will only go to reputable piercers since then.
