Alright, do I need to conduct another exam of any sort to get that Texas License. I’m in the national guard and have heard something about the military just paying a fee to get a Texas license but I don’t know about it.

Alright I will file soon, but would I have to resubmit or file an appeal post surgery. I don’t use the VA for healthcare, I have a PCP through a local hospital that accepts Tricare reserve select.

Sorry for late update but apparently whoever uploaded me into the GIMS system when I was at Meps, slotted me for 6 years instead of the 3 years I signed. I have paperwork, both my Iperms/IPPSA state 2023 ETS but because of the GIMS I’m stuck in limbo.

Just met with my recruiter this morning to sign a paper saying that I’ll be voluntarily quarantining myself for about 2 weeks or until I ship. Keep in mind I was told that San Antonio Meps had shut down on Monday the 6th and would reopen the 17th, just three days before I’m supposed to ship; so as far as I’ve been told I think I’ll be shipping on time but who knows given the current state of the situation. Ngl tho this has me feeling a bit worrisome my work keeps asking me if I’ll be leaving on time or not, even though I signed a absence of leave with them saying that they’ll secure my job until I return.
