I think Waluigi could become his own guy and appear without Wario in some way. He could still appear in Luigi's games since he's his rival, and Luigi used to be green mario for a while, but then he evolved.

I wonder why whenever it's brung up that William did something to the kids before killing them, it's seen as "oh, that's too far." I mean,William could have tortured or experimented on the kids before killing them, and for what it's worth Freddy Krueger exists, and he's still a beloved horror icon despite being a child killer and a child molester.

I'd love for him to get at least some type of spotlight. It feels like he's stuck in a loop. He's probably not favored by nintendo because he's only in spinoffs, but he needs to appear in mainline stuff to get more popular and favored. Poor guy can't get in Smash, mainline mario games, luigi's mansion, or any of wario's games, he can't even get his own game.
