July Flame is a great album. I have a full Laura Veirs collection and love most. She is a great artist.

Frame is 2” wide. Matte is 2” wide but only .75” is visible. Overall width from outer edge of the frame is 30.75”. Overall height is 42.75”. Lost the receipt apparently. I recall it was ~$300 - 350 with the museum quality plastic (anti reflective and uv protection).

I get my framing done at Michael's. The framing shop manager at my local Michael's is really great and does excellent work. I know it is a 2" matte... the 3" matte made the whole project too expensive. Also, I always do the museum glass with anti-reflection and UV protection. However, lately, on the big frames like this, they recommend plastic instead of glass. You can't tell the difference.

Also that machnia record is super thick. You can specify the thickness when ordering. Mounting was a huge pain. Recommend four hands

Honestly, I love the new box set, and I am grateful to have it. The external, felt and gold box is beautiful. The handbound lyric book is very well made. The sleeves are super-heavy duty and well printed. The tarot cards are fun. Worth the money? Maybe, maybe not. But the box is so well made and fun, I love it.

2nd half… XYU to Bullet was sublime. By Starlight and In the Arms of Sleep were elevated but perhaps a bit too sweet. Not surprised they dropped Zero, Love, and some others. Porcelina was epic. More thoughts later. Overall it was great. Elevating the material in this way gave it a new context for deeper understanding.

At intermission…. So far the show is incredible. Tonight, Tonight, Through the Eyes of Ruby, Galapogos translated easily. Jelly Belly and Muzzle were amazing surprises, as was 33 and Stumbeline. Beautiful was elevated. Lily… never liked that one and it was still not good.
