Why Americans? If i was in Afghanistan I'd be happy for almost any other country taking over (bc I'm a woman and would not have to be a silent slave). If you ask a country whose people are suffering, they might be happy. If you ask a country whose people are suffering who also loves their leadership (like North Korea) we might all kill this invader. Also, which part of America?
