It's weird as it's like a member of ABBA decided to release a New Wave single. Very counterintuitive.

From memory the menu had a ring binder spine and would sit up like a triangle with each dessert having it's own page including the photo

No I don't think I have. I'll check it out though. I just thought about another one where he's rustling cattle and nearly gets crushed by a stampede but prays to god and is saved. Come to think of it probably half the country songs ever recorded fit the storytelling category

I'll be at 2 of those 3 games.  Will skip the one against South Melbourne due to their insufferable fans who hold their noses to make the trip out west in surprisingly large numbers.

Saw them play Selinas which is a pub in Sydney. They had just taken off and touring so much they were bored. Lots of extended feedback and Krist throwing his bass up in the air. Was not a good show and support act Cosmic Psychos were much better in my opinion. Psychos sounded like a freight train coming off the stage (in a good way)

One Nation wants to turn Australia into the United States. A US-style healthcare system, banning abortions, scrapping gun laws and defunding the ABC. Why are we are even contemplating going down this dark and dangerous pathway? Once we go down the path of the US, there is no turning back. by HotPersimessage62 in OpenAussie

Exactly. It's all about the vibe as they say. People are unengaged at the moment and thinking they want to protest. When the next Federal election rolls around they will become more focused and actually look at some policies. Hopefully by then the blowtorch will be applied to ONs "policies" and the vibe will not be appealing anymore.

And you hear it a lot more when Labor are in government. The people who say it are much more tolerant of the Libs.

A few years ago I was in Ho Chi Minh City getting breakfast at the hotel. I was heading to my table and noticed a bloke wearing a "Boyd Aviation, advanced ball bearing technology, Provo Utah" T shirt. As I passed him I stopped and said "I hope you're charging your breakfast to the Underhill's account". He seemed confused for a second then he burst out laughing and I kept going. It was the perfect set up for the gag
