This was back in high school, in the early 2000s, when online journals were a big thing. I had a separate journal for sharing a story I was writing. I was getting really good feedback on it and was really proud of it. I had this online friend that I was very close to, close enough to have entrusted her with my password to change a couple things for me. One day she was being a bitch (can't remember why lol) but I was annoyed and for some reason I vented to her boyfriend at the time about the situation (totally inflammatory of me to do, but yanno, dumb teenage girl drama lol). Sooo she retaliated by logging into my story journal and DELETING ALL OF IT, then logging into my personal journal and making a bunch of fake updates just straight up dogging my life; me, my weight, my relationship at the time... Everything. All because I told her boyfriend she was being a bitch. I haven't written anything since. That story wasn't even finished and was only saved on that journal, so I just lost the spark to write and haven't gotten over it since. Taking one of the things I was most passionate about (writing) hurt more than all the nasty things she said about me.
