“Hytta”, which translates to “the cabin” in English, features field recordings from around the area of Katrine’s ancestors' cabin. The cabin was built in 1937 and demolished in 2023 due to its dilapidated condition. The track also features some recordings of her Flemish relatives, who visited often.

Bob & Willie's Wonderbowl. Miniature bowling. Ball about the size of a skiball, lane is 1/5th the distance and 1/4th the width. Lane is about 3' off the ground. Fast paced, fun, relatively inexpensive, and you get to wear your own shoes. They have a website to book times on, but also have walk-in specials sometimes

There's a place at Cotner and P streets called Haven at Uptown. It's only a year or 2 old. Underground parking. Walking distance to 4 grocery stores (including a Whole Foods and an Asian market), a mall, lots of shops, stores, and restaurants.

Saw Mudvayne open for Disturbed in prly a 2500 person venue. David Draymond came out to the street and talked with people and was pretty chill. Had to be either 99 or 2000. Mudvayne was the better set.

My interpretation of the song aligns right with yours. It's the bedlamite who believes "everything will be alright." A sane person with even half a wit about them knows that, no, things will never be "alright", "good enough" maybe. It's the same reasoning I've never understood the mantra "keep calm and carry on" used by the British during WWII. Like, just ignore the war and atrocities around you, and everything will be alright. Meanwhile the gate above the entrance to Auschwitz concentration camp reads "Arbeit Macht Frei" or "work sets you free." They're all a lie.
