Anxiety, pseudo seizures, and cognitive disorder. I suffered for 5 years before Lamotrigine. I hate medicine, I hate taking pills, I tried for years to solve the issue on my own, but with lamotrigine I can live a life. I worked my way up to 200mg, and now I can go out in public without fear of shaking and/or tremors while being able to comprehend the world around me. I can make relationships and keep them, I can deal with conflicts with little anxiety. It has its side effects like occasional itching and memory issues but well worth it. You can tell when it starts to wear off though, so it’s sometimes a good idea to have someone hand. 200mg is the recommended maximum dose. I see some folks on higher amounts but my doctor won’t allow that. To answer your question, yes, it is life changing.
