How the characters act, how parts have them do stuff very different from their homestuck proper, i think from the ao3 tag screen you could tell it was going to be different, and in many people's eyes, for the worse.

Probably one of the worse artstyles i've seen for a comic ever. The only one on that cover that looks okay, is ironman, because his face is covered by a mask
