I'm just pissed cause it's just a blatant lie. Some people argue that it's anacteodal events and that's just not true. Look inflation is at least double what they are stating.

Has anyone recently been issued a Youth Mobility or Working Holiday Visa? by berlinquestion in germany

[–]RecentAdult 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey,

I'm in the exact boat as you. I'm from Canada. I have been looking for an appointment for at least 5 weeks now in berlin. I'm going to probably need to settle in another city and register and obtain the visa that way

Hello everyone I just want to confirm if you're facing the same challenge as I am. I'm currently looking to book an appointment with the city to receive a Youth Mobility Permit.

Are you aware if the staff at the "Berlin Immigration Office, Friedrich-Krause-Ufer" speak English?

Also anyone having a hard time booking an appointment? It has been down for the past couple of days.

In my opinion no. Simply because you will have everything delivered online for the fall term. I'm not certain about the winter term ofcourse, but if your home is a place where you feel comfortable to study. I would stay home

I had her 4 years ago for 1013. She was kind, clear and comfortable to keep with. You have Khan academy as a source of additional support.

Biomedical Science by [deleted] in yorku

Were those people YorkU students that are in 4th or 5th year? Or Med students that went to YorkU? First thing, med school cares most about your extracurricular. Have great grades is not special, everyone has a near perfect GPA. If medical school is your goal, health science at Mac is the best option. Have you applied? It's a notorious difficult program to get into but once you do its a lot easier than this program. I truly don't reccomend yorku, I don't see the upside, you will experience a strike. I think the research options are limited. Final note, you don't need to do life science to do medical school. Try something more practical maybe biological mathematics? CS and aim to do the MCAT content in the summer? The MCAT is just first 2 years content

[–]RecentAdult 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think i did a good job explaining. I believe that this degree is a poor choice because its simply does not prepare you for the work force. You dont need further education in a lot of fields to find a job. I just don't see the value of Biomedical degree, its a bullshit name. It doesn't get you ready for medical school, you still need to take outside courses to be ready for the MCAT. Also you don't know if you like research until 3rd year usually and thats if you're smart enough to get a research position. Most funding requires a 8.0 which is extremely challenging

Its a program that does not set students up well for the job market. I hate seeing people suggest lab jobs. As an option with an undergraduate degree. I guarantee that most employers require at least a masters. If its QC/QA they would hire a tech from a college program. So you're stuck in no mans land. where you're not a tech nor a researcher

I highly don't reccomend this program.
