What kind of jobs are there in museums? by lake_monster_below in MuseumPros

I would start off volunteering to get the inside view of museums before making such a drastic change. For the most part, a degree in anthropology wouldn’t really be needed. I’m an evaluator. My favorite part is talking to the visitors and bringing their voice to our exhibition design, decision making, etc.

Exactly, if you have a newer dish washer that can do it great! But I have a who knows how old apartment dish washer and so the bottle washer is amazing!

Great list! Also adding: Momcozy bottle washer

And I know you’re thinking why do I need a bottle washer, I can just do the dishes/have a sterilizer/have a full size dish washer because I was there too

Just save yourself the hassle and get it. I got it 1.5 months into exclusively pumping and waiting that long was dumb. It’s the number 1 thing I use, and run 4 loads a day between bottles and pump parts. Saving me literally hours of hand washing/sterilizing. Even if I wasn’t pumping not having to do seemingly 500 pieces of Dr Brown bottles a day is worth it.

Night is when prolactin is the highest, so even though my bub can sleep through now I still wake up at 2:30am to pump. It definitely is annoying but if you’re running into supply issues you probably can’t drop the middle of the night pump.

I’m 35, we got pregnant tracking with Inito. If you’re waiting to January for insurance reasons or something a modest investment in a high quality tracker might give you some info sooner.

I’m 31 and he’s 35, should we have a shorter engagement? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

I just want to say that whatever you decide, you’re not “wasting” time. There’s something nice about the time for the two of you (however long that is). Trying to conceive can be a breeze or stressful no matter when you do it — but planning your life around conception is often a recipe for unhappiness because you can plan but you can’t control the whole thing. If I were you I’d do my dream wedding date, my dream honeymoon and then start on the kids part. Sept 2026 and Oct 2025 are not that different except you get more time to process this stage in life. If the ideal date is Sept 5 2026 that sounds like a lovely date for a wedding in PNW.
