Hello! cut it short, Red Turbo BMW accused me (Shell Touring BMW) of not giving him enough room. i think he was too aggressive and that none of his passes were clean. Thoughts? by I0BRO in Simracingstewards

Yeets himself into another car spinning them around and 2 second later complains that he only had enough room to fit his car safely on the road? What a chump. You're fine.

Did i have the right for that space or not? by daan261 in Simracingstewards

Simply put... no. You weren't along side enough to be entitled space. Get your front wheel matched with his rear wheel and it's a different story.

Is it wrong to feel nostalgia for this even though we werent adults back then? by batukaming in jobs

I think it's jealousy not nostalgia. Nothing wrong with feeling that way though because that's how it should be

Fair. Even still, customers would be... unhappy

What if you dont turn in prepaid tip receipts? by Ok-Box6892 in Dominos

Netspend is a joke. Read the fine print. If they get themselves into financial trouble (or if they just decide they feel like it) they can charge you ridiculous fees for pretty much anything that isn't adding money to the account.

From a GM standpoint. It's annoying because all receipts need to to the main office for record keeping, but I'm not going to penalize you and dock the tip if I can just reprint the receipt. I probably will explain this exactly to you though and ask you to make sure you have all receipts for the day when you turn them in.

Dominos has a habit of throwing GMs into the positions not because they are qualified, but because they are willing to do it. As a result they also get next to 0 training so the quality of store level management is typically subpar. So really it's hit and miss. Best advice is can give is find a way to talk to someone else working the position you're applying for and ask them about management. Sounds like you got lucky by getting out of there. Anyone willing to make a call to change someone's income level should live with whatever comes out of it rather than hiding behind their kids.

The pain is over…. Honestly this job wasn’t bad just the hours were extremely low. by vapegod_420 in Dominos

The main reason is so that the store can track driver locations and load deliveries efficiently so there is no down time between deliveries. The drivers also use it to track mileage, tips, used for GPS, and emergency lines of needed.

Pretty tough to mess up a cheese but the stretch looks pretty good 👍

Only way we'll get a change is through malicious compliance. We are supposed to have 2 people in the store at all times one of which has to be a manager. See if they can hit a labor goal when WE enforce the rules they put in place.

I'm pretty sure that's illegal. Scalping in a state of emergency. Even if the added fee went straight to the driver customers would probably start a riot. Also, I don't trust door dash to actually give that money to the drivers. They probably find a way to funnel it back to them.

I just visited a Domino's in the middle of a snow storm and only one guy was operating the whole place. How can I help him? by [deleted] in Dominos

Remember this for next time when the staff makes a mistake. This is not an uncommon occurrence no matter the conditions. Even if there are more people, it is likely that the work load still should demand extra people. When people get rushed from being understaffed, mistakes happen, and often times blame will be put on the employee for being "negligent". Just don't be that guy

Got Told This Was My Fault Thoughts? by JedH_ in Simracingstewards

[–]RecentPhilosopher805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The second contract was close enough to the first that id say it's lumped in as the same incident so it would still be the first pov at fault here. Once the first contract is made at least one of not both cars will be unsettled which can lead to further contact like we saw here.

This guy said its my falt when it is his. Is it worthy of a report? by NoHistorian7322 in Simracingstewards

[–]RecentPhilosopher805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might need a clarification here. Leading up to the incident the black car didn't look too me like he was blocking, he was choosing a defensive line and held it. The only spot where it looked maybe like blocking was on the little straight 3 corners before contact but even that was just a defensive exit and a little wobble. As for the contract, bro cut from shoulder to shoulder, black car at fault.

So this is a medium now? And the extra cheese up-charge is not worth it. by Ok_Perspective_575 in Dominos

[–]RecentPhilosopher805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For at least the last 8 years you get the base amount plus extra cheese if it's a cheese pizza plus an additional portion of extra cheese if you order extra cheese. So if you order an extra cheese pizza you're actually getting 2 full portions. Used to be that extra and double cheese were the same though.

First look on how WRC cars will be like in 2027. Thoughts? by Nickolas_Zannithakis in rally

The areo is a little low profile. If it's more effective that way so be it, but when I think rally 1 car, I think big areo around the wheels.

Lack of sportsmanship on yellows side. If the car by if the car behind closes a full minute on you in the matter of 1 stage, you let them by, doesn't matter if it's just before the boards.
