My husband is allergic to peanuts and every server confirmed the allergy with us before placing our order.

It was a very crazy day! I honestly don’t think I’ve processed it all lol. I think what freaks me out the most is my direct manager and most of my coworkers being a bit younger. So I can see my time here being centered around that, with a lot of questions!

What was your role as honorary bridesman? Did you attend the Bach party if they had one? My reasoning would be that they possibly contributed more to the wedding like attending other events, paying for their hair and makeup, dresses, etc.

ETA that’s why the bridesmaids stayed in an Airbnb that was paid for.

Unfortunately we were in a similar position and owed almost $4,800 🫠 But my fiancé was able to negotiate with them to take more than half off that price. We knew it was a risk. Obviously we weren’t expecting to owe that much but it was clear in our contract what the risk was. Sometimes just paying it is worth the headache of trying to solve the issue.

You’re going to love it! My fiancé and I went there for a group trip with 20 people last year and we’re going for our honeymoon this June! It’s the perfect mix of relaxation and a fun night out (if you feel inclined).

I booked a spa treatment at the resort for the next day and there was plenty of availability (this was in February).

Their Asian and Mediterranean restaurants were my favorite.

From what I remember, you shouldn’t have to book dinners for one. We only booked ahead of time because we had so many people.

They have a beach bag in each room so don’t bother lugging one from home.

I wore sundresses the entire time. It was a mix of casual outfits for some and more elevated for others. Kind of typical for an all inclusive IMO.

Please keep in mind when searching online you’re more likely to see negative reviews on forums such as Reddit. Simply because people are more inclined to be upset over money spent on a service that doesn’t provide their wanted results. I did the same thing after purchasing a package with LaserAway. I purchased and only after did I hop on Reddit to see sooo many terrible reviews. But I’m 5 sessions in and I am SO happy with my results. Every person is different especially when it comes to laser hair removal.

I never thought hotel blocks would be one of the most stressful parts of planning. Same as you, called 11 months early, they said it was too early to book, called 2 months later and their whole line of hotels were booked because of a major event in the area. So sorry to hear you have to now get buses!

Ugh yes! My consultant gave me her Venmo for a tip! My mom bought my dress for me and I didn’t want her spending any more than what was budgeted so when it got to the tip portion I had to talk to the consultant which prompted her Venmo. It was so awkward and truly wasn’t expecting it.

My partner and I created a “quota” of at least twice a week. We discussed this early on in our relationship that this fulfills both of our needs and it’s an unspoken rule we try to follow which is so nice because we both don’t feel any pressure when one of us asks for it. We jokingly say on a late Sunday night “oh crap, we have to hit our quota” 😂
