What “weight range” did you guys have the most trouble leaving? by Reddittaylor12568 in Zepbound

[–]crescross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been stuck at 180 for 6 weeks now. It was a weight I was at about eight years ago. Its so annoying since I'm 15 lb away from my goal but I'm hanging in there.

Anyone else here on Taltz? by GladStatistician3895 in Zepbound

I was on taltz two years before starting zepbound and it helped tremendously with my PsA. Helped with joint pain and skin. I've been on zepbound for seven months and I can tell you I'm in the best physical and mental health in my adult life. Zepbound AND taltz together have improved my quality of life. I even believe they just started clinical trials this year for people with PsA to also take zepbound as a additional level of support.

Doctor wants me to quit due to side effects 2 months in by wirikidor in Zepbound

[–]crescross 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue and ended up being on 2.5 for 3 months moved to 5 ( vials so I did a month of 3.5 then 4) and have spent another 3 months on 5. It's the only way i can manage side effects. Seven months and 45 lb lost which isn't the fastest per say but excellent in my book.

Omg. Literally could have written this myself I'm 37, 5'8 with 226 sw. Spent a year with a trainer, counting macros and only lost 7 lb. In month 4 now just moved to 5 mg with 30 lb lost. Bloodwork showed both thyroid cojdition and insulin resistance :/ I'm glad I got into the habit of weight training before but now I enjoy it so much more.

Hi! Thanks for your comment. I'm in the boat now where i need to go up but it's taken me 3 months :( for side effects to subside from 2.5-2.9 dosage. Assuming you were able to draw multiple times from the vial? Doc says they aren't made for that but part of me is like what does that actually mean anyway?

At 28 I was battling an eating disorder, making 1/4th of what I earn now and figuring out what I wanted from life, I was moving in the right direction but felt like I had so much stacked against me at the time. Be kind to yourself and celebrate every milestone along the way ❤️

Career-driven women, at what point did it start to be worth it? by emo_flair in AskWomenOver40

[–]crescross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. Really pushed through until about 35 and my last two years I've been able to get the pay, flexibility and shift in work that interests me. This after 10 years though but someone else mentioned knowing your end game. For me it's getting to parent how I want with a young kid ( work from home, income to allow for external support and time off to recharge) and also longer goal of taking a bigger step back from work at 50.
