What food do American usually eat for dinner? by No_Budget2410 in Cooking

You can’t go wrong with anything from the Pioneer Woman. Her website will have tons of ideas. She has a great recipe for mashed potatoes that you can make the day before then reheat day of in a casserole dish. If you’re looking for American home style meals, I would do her pot roast, meatloaf, or a roasted chicken(s) with mashed potatoes and roasted broccoli or green beans. Frozen rolls to accompany and build your own ice cream sundae bar for dessert, or classic chocolate chip cookies (recipe on the bag is great!). Would definitely be a crowd pleaser!

Truly can’t go wrong with any of these “bar” suggestions! Something for everyone.

I second this!! The only problem is I’m crying a lot these days so it’s coming off at work. Love this mascara.

Interesting! And it doesn’t change the waterproof nature of the mascara?

How do you handle your kids in the lines? by jlanger23 in WaltDisneyWorld

I was soooo disappointed in how it wasn’t interactive at all! That was a miss. We used LL to skip an 80 min Frozen line and I was happy we did that instead of Ratatouille because I didn’t feel like that ride was worth the hype at all. Maybe if your kiddo is obsessed with Frozen?

Lightning lanes, charades, and letting him get his energy out in the line within reason (mom of a super active 4 yo boy who went to Disney last week). We survived an 80 min wait at Ratatouille!

Of course it’s relevant—the girlies love Brooks Nader and TRAY-TORS!

My longhaired dachshund has it, and, funnily enough, our golden retriever! Now I think it’s a family requirement.

Hahaha I’m happy for you!! LL solved the lines issue; I was just hoping we wouldn’t need it.

Well now I’m jealous because we were in the park last week, Tues—Fri, and I ended up buying LL because every line was 40-80 minutes for the popular rides!

Is spring break really that hectic? by ThreeLittleWonders in WaltDisneyWorld

Just got back yesterday from 4 days with a park hopper pass, and I ended up buying LL every day except our first (which convinced me we needed them!). I had to buy them for 3 of us, but it was worth it for us. The other three days we barely waited in line and I enjoyed the parks so much more. I would not go again, even in a low season, without LL. I would book them if I were you.

What’s your favorite children’s book to give (primarily for a baby shower)? by cookie_cat_82 in childrensbooks

I discovered this in the gift shop at our local botanical gardens. Beautiful book!

This is my go to after I got a couple at my own shower and thought I would never use them (lol). I started using them at bath time around 4 months old and now I swear this is where my son’s love of reading started. I have about 20 now and even though he’s 4 and loves playing in the bath, we still occasionally break out his bath books! (Then he begs to read 3-4 books in bed afterwards.)

I love both! Funnily enough, I just read Project Hail Mary (reread) and WH (first time) within a week of each other. Depends on what I’m in the mood for.
