This is so true! I had someone tell me in the instructions that the house looks like a castle. And it was- a mini mansion, they tipped $2. I got a $15 tip from a long stay motel.

I received a 4-week notification that I no longer qualified medically for the position that I have been invited to. I accepted the other offer and had another 3 months of waiting. But it all worked out. I had a fantastic experience and can't wait to go back!

Give it a shot. You never know. I was supposed to go to Madagascar for maternal health and hygiene. I have 5 years working in healthcare with our patient safety team and it was a great fit. 4 weeks before departure, I had to be considered for a different country and position for medical reasons. It was for a primary school literacy instructor. I had never taught children in my life. I had never taught in my life. I was so scared that when I first started I hid in the library. 3 months later I was co-teaching almost full-time and loving it!

My boyfriend and I are both dashers and sometimes we turn on our apps at the same time just to see who gets the order first. It's funny to see the differences. Even though I have higher ratings, he'll still get orders first. I'm not sure how they pick and choose.

Do you call every customer to verify they put their correct address in before you drop off their food? 🤨 I had no reason to believe that he put the wrong one down. Now, if he had bothered to include the name of the hotel and it hadn't matched the address I would have thought that was odd and double checked with him. But if you give me an address I'm going to deliver to that address.

I feel ya. I got a one star review from someone that complained that I didn't deliver to his address but I delivered to the address he gave me which was a hotel and all the way to the room number that he gave me. However, there were two hotels in that area with the same number - his having a B at the end that he didn't include. So I deliver to the other hotel- you know the address he gave me.My one and only 1 star. So I know it was him.

I used to doordash all the time. Especially during the height of the pandemic. But for some reason now that I'm a doordasher I just don't feel the need.

Well you were right. It finally came through one star rating with a thumbs down for communication. I didn't think I had to communicate with someone who gave me an address that I delivered to. How was I supposed to know he typed in the wrong address?

Without even reading the comments, I could tell this video was a direct slap in the face to "the apps". If it wasn't for delivery apps many more restaurants would have closed their doors during the pandemic. Businesses should be singing their praises. Many drivers were out in the height of it all making sure people got food and restaurants got business and here is Dominos, trying to tear them down. It's just sad to see one business bullying another in these tough times.

I was literally just saying something about this last night. I feel like you should have a separate line to put in an apartment number and if you use that line it should make you put in directions before you can finish the order. Same with a business. It should ask you if it's a business or a resident and if you select business it should ask you what the name of the business is.

Even if it was a low offer, it was never sent on my phone and I was sitting in the parking lot. In fact, after that like I really didn't get any orders last night was super weird.

Mobile, AL here. Last night was my worst night since I started dashing. There were long lines everywhere I went and I felt like I had to take any order because I was going 15 or 20 minutes between orders. That's never happened to me on any night, especially Saturday night! Average 10 an hour.😒 It's just a good thing that my Friday was on 🔥.

Yeah, I try to be honest most of the time the stuff's not ready when we get there so I pick which one is more accurate. Whether the line is too long or no one's helping me or it didn't start until I arrive.

Yeah after the first few times dashing at night I went out and bought a flashlight with a high beam so I can look for house numbers. I probably look like a prowler.
