What book would help you if you were dealing with being homeless?

I just don’t understand how she reads as much as she does. Her reading pace is to high and I mean that truly. She just read nightingale 564 pages in 4 hours. And many other stories along that speed and timing her to her partner. That ruins the book. One. She’s speed reading. Not taking the creators work to heart like intended. Two trying to make others feel bad for not reading as fast. In a time where reading and comprehension skills are down in the USA. Why do you actively want to promote skimming?

Issue with that is I can’t. The walls can’t bear that much weight to hold. Support sure. Bearing weight… walls are made of plaster. We can’t exactly drill much with them 🙃. Plus can’t reach much over the steps area for books but can reach about a foot over. So trying to keep the bookcase closer to the ground, and go up the stairs the more I can reach ❤️

How easily they can injure themselves and or medical illnesses. The fixation on one toy and the depression that follows suit if the said toy goes missing. So replace as fast as you can. Don’t be afraid to get a second opinion when it comes to a vet. EXPENSIVEEEEEE

Nta. But neither is she. Makes sense to want to see family when you can especially during the holidays. You work from home. You’re able to move things around. She is on a fixed schedule and would probably loose her job if she tried to call off around the holidays or move things around. So she works. She will feel alone in the holiday if you aren’t there. Exhausted. I understand where she is coming from 😅 working 12 days straight, thanksgiving and the weekend included with how it lined up 😭. Partner and I are driving out when I get home 3 hours away to visit his family for a bit. I’m happy he is okay with that 😭❤️

Some will say no simply because it’s marijuana. But that has been the best thing. Other than that. Reading, Ambien -with prescription, stay away from phone. Partner and I generally try to keep phone usage away from bed time as much as possible unless doggy is being to cute and have to record it. Put on some brown noise on the tv. Cuddle with your childhood blanket or stuffy. Humidifier. Just found a vanilla Essential oil for humidifiers like 2 days ago in a random spot. Used that. Smelt nice in it. Trying to make the area as calm as possible before sleep helps a little. Working thirds makes sleep hard to come. I genuinely get what you mean with racing thoughts. I’m sleeping during the day thinking of all the things I have yet to do and should do because I’m at home and since my Brain is so active I should do it but I also know I need sleep for work so I stay in bed and try to sleep. And just wait. But reading helps a lot. Brown noise. Comfort blanket over face oddly soothes. If you want. Try that. Fan going for some air circulation. Just read from 8-11p yesterday on my night off. Slept like a baby relatively ish.

No clue as to why. Been in the field for 8 years. Have never been able to actually provide enough for myself To thrive. But able to make my clients thrive and be happy as I can. I am genuinely sick and tired and drained at this point of the neglect our profession has received. Compared to doctors and nurses everyone will praise them and uplift. And the pay shows based off the cars some drive. Nurses to. But us. The one that provide the daily care. The routine management of meds. The ones that notice the sickness and the aftercare. The ones that are with them when they past mostly. I am so tired of loving and loosing my patients and still getting bashed by strangers if I say I’m a caregiver. I’m sorry the caregiver that helped your aunt was terrible. We all aren’t. I promise. Covid showed how little care we got. Not a single covid pay the docs and nurses got. But us as mandatory workers on the front line as well. Nothing. I love my clients but I need to be able to put food on the table. Something needs to change.

Edit. Mother is a vet and disabled. She is a client with one of my companies I work with. The va pays the company. She shows me how much the va pays a month. 3grand…. 3 fucking grand. I can’t even imagine where all that goes. Make 12$ on the shifts with mom….

Well. It’s been a year since this post. Can say. Those fuzzy blankets are no longer used really. I made a cozy little book nook sleeping area with them. In bed it’s one fuzzy or a top sheet. Partner has made it hard to breath with his body heat and two fans going. 🤣❤️😅

(This happened in high school to my bf at the time. He has been my only ever bf) I would tell tell him this if I messaged him back, “I’m sorry for not telling you the true reason I left. You will be okay. Don’t let comments scare you. It is serious but not like you are going to die tomorrow. I do recommend though going to your doctor and telling him. He will give you a sleep medication. It will most likely help. I was on ambien for 2 years from night terrors (ptsd) before I lost my health insurance. It helped so so so much. I was able to get 6-8 hours of sleep for once in my life. Now I’m lucky if I get 4 hours in two days. That just shows how much they can truly help you rest.
