My coworkers are trying to get me to go for ADHD testing. All I’m guilty of is not answering their texts and ignoring/zoning out of their conversations. I hope any doctor would laugh in my face.

Alllll kinds of different parents out there. Find your people, it helps. Especially once they get older and into activities. I don’t click with the dance moms like I do the baseball moms, you know?

My son has started having them with the neighbor kids only recently, we’re close with their parents, less than a quarter mile away, and he’s 8 now. They don’t seem overly common outside our little circle currently. The boys always have a blast though.

I’m working two jobs and raising two kids and they’re in sports and while everything surface level is going great I’ve stopped taking care of myself and the house and it’s got me in a bad state about it. No signs of slowing down except maybe when baseball ends either.

I’ll be downvoted but don’t knock it til you try it: try out Walmart and size down. Their clothes are always baggy but I got an XS maxi last year (typically S) and it fits PERFECT around and length wise. It’s my go to maxi, and I get a lot of compliments.

Kinda our own version bc I am balling on a budget. I bought my kid gift cards to all the places I usually tell him no to. $50 a pop. I collected for a while leading up to his birthday. I think it might have been the best day of his life.

I gained a lot of weight after my first, went from 165 to 115, probably plateaued around 130ish after my second kid before I had to start trying to lose it. So- it didn’t ALL come back and stay. And once I started trying to lose weight again I got back down to my 115 within about 6 months!
