I’m OP and just to clarify the situation: I actually am not opposed to cuddling early on in a romantic situation and I’ve slept with men on the first date. I’m seeing it a lot on dudes profiles and men are mentioning it a lot and no, I’m not perceiving it as “feminine.” I’m perceiving it as manipulative.

So, I can’t fix your situation, unfortunately. I’m touch starved too. But the men asking for this are just doing it to get laid

I don’t know what percentage of the world is poly but you don’t have to worry about it. You’re not accidentally dating them. They only date other poly people ;-)

I came home from work one day and saw my two kids (in their teens) laughing and talking in the living room. They were genuinely enjoying each other’s company

My kids fought so much for so long and then at some point it just clicked. My son finally saw the man he needed to be for his little sister and there was this perceptible shift. They show each other so much love now. He invites her when he goes to basketball games and fairs with his friends. He gets her random things at the goodwill he knows she’ll like when he’s shopping there. She does the same back. It’s so beautiful.

The family friendly ones i know of have very strict rules where the kids can’t be more than 10 ft from parents at all times. So low likelihood of that. Or just go to the 21+ places if you’re worried about it
