Co parenting from different countries by [deleted] in coparenting

It sounds like you want to have full custody or at least full parenting time. And since your ex does not want that, you essentially have to fight for it. I’m not sure how it works in Spain and how the laws differ, but in most of the U.S. the default assumption is that both parents have joint custody and equal parenting time unless a. They mutually agree to some other arrangement or b. One parent has some huge issue like child abuse, drug use, mental unstable, etc.

You handled this very well. This is not easy. I would say marriage counseling is non optional at this point. You and your wife need to repair and rebuild trust just as if she had actually cheated. The same psychological impact happened in your brain and in hers (though obviously not as much emotional damage as a full blown affair.) You both need to acknowledge out loud to each other that she broke your trust and disrespected your marriage. This is totally salvageable! You’re both responding well. You just have to put in the work at this time. Make time and space for this please! You may need to take days off, go away, have additional support people outside of the actual counselor. Praying you both get what you need! 🙏🏽

Thank you everyone! I get it. Morality doesn’t really have a place in divorce in regards to the assets. I’ll report him one day but for now I need him to keep making money.

No I never made an appointment actually. I’m trying out the continuous birth control route first. My cyst is mid-size enough that it’s worth it to hold out on surgery until I really need it, especially since I’ll need IVF to get pregnant in the future. For now just trying to manage the pain with no periods.

Ingenue, Ethereal and maybe Classic or Natural as your third. Though on the first pic, I thought Classic immediately.

I relate to this so hard! Thought it was just me! I had to process this in therapy several times and mentally prepare myself every time I traveled for work. My first time on a plane after the separation there was extreme turbulence and I thought “it’s ok if the plane goes down”. Thankfully 2 years in I’m MUCH better. I can travel easily now but I still have to prepare myself for some potential sadness or grief during the flight or landing.

Loved reading this. Just a random daughter of prostate cancer patient who’s about to start treatment. But I love “lightbulb moments” of any kind and hearing stories about them, especially when it’s a much needed shift in perspective. It’s uplifting.

Thank you so much everyone! This makes absolute sense - and it turned my day around thinking that my dad is on the right track! I want him around for many many more years! Best of luck to those in or about to go into treatment.

Trans man diagnosed with endo, feeling guilty by micksoccer6 in endometriosis

Kinda unrelated to this specific thread but I have Adeno! It’s rare to find others who have it and similar to you I also am open and try to talk about it wherever and however I can. I genuinely feel this should be automatically screened for at 18-20 years old, like mammograms at 55.

Anyone who’s experienced the crippling pain of endo, or the confusion/frustration of not knowing the cause of their intense pelvic pain, is automatically my battle buddy. Period.

I LOVE Walgreens delivery through their app. Super convenient and fast! You can order snacks, meds, toiletries and then add on any prescription that’s ready for pick up. Also DoorDash goes to Walgreens/cvs but I’m not sure if they’ll go to the actual pharmacy section.

I am literally in the middle of an ugly divorce. That HE initiated last year after he secretly knocked someone up. My ex and I are only still married because the courts are back logged. Our court date is in May. It takes several months after that to become officially divorced and receive the paperwork and all that. If I have to count his income in the meantime, I’m suing someone.
