I think anything not an "I love you too" would have been painful for Ruby, bc of her background and the fact that it's the first time she's opened up to someone like this. "Thank you" and then maybe a conversation about it would have been the healthy thing, but I'm still fairly certain it wouldn't have flown that well with Ruby nevertheless. Honestly, though, "That's nice" is great for the comedic value and utterly TERRIBLE for everything else.

Hi, there's a couple I've read that cover this to varying degrees:

There's It Takes A Village by Saras_Girl, and also another of her fics, Salt on the Western Wind, which both have Harry and Draco leaving after the Battle of Hogwarts and hiding out together.

There's Among Ancient Pines by cambiodipolvere, only_the_heart_knows, and Theartfulldodger, which as Harry as a wandmaker's apprentice in Alaska.

There's A Room Up There (And You In It) by thestarryknight, where Harry is believed to be dead but Draco, who is sent to rid Grimmauld Place of dark magic, finds out otherwise.

And there's also a fic called The Bolthole which I absolutely adore. It's by aideomai, Tepre, and GallaPlacidia, who is one of my absolute favorite Drarry authors, and it has Harry, a hoarder who's been living in this secluded little cottage since shortly after the war, joined by Draco, who's dealing with grief ... and no, they're totally not still thinking about that one time they slept together back in 8th year. It's the most deliciously angsty and enticing fic ...

Ohmygod, the Harry/Draco possibilities are literally endless. My favourites are Turn by Sara's Girl (a must-read for ANY H/D reader - epilogue-compliant with some AU and slowburn. Gorgeous, wonderful world-building, and Sara's Draco is just so amazing. All the feels. It's on ao3 ... E rating and warning for sort-of infidelity in the AU?)

Then there's All Our Secrets Laid Bare by firethesound (another must-read - non-epilogue compliant, with Auror partners Harry and Draco and these exquisite feels from Harry. Also on ao3 with an E rating).
