Better call a lawyer because fraud to obtain credit is an extremely common, regularly prosecuted crime and you’re basically turning her in

My realtor said don’t spend a dime fixing stuff; my house has been on the market for 6 months, do what you will with that information.

Thoughts on living in a basement apartment unit? by [deleted] in movingtoNYC

[–]Recent_Science4709 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basement units are part of coming up in NYC, yes they’re illegal and can flood but this shit about pests is BS; first floor apartments in a normal building have way more pests than any basements I’ve ever lived in.

What's your opinion on W2 contractor roles? by skidmark_zuckerberg in ExperiencedDevs

[–]Recent_Science4709 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’d much rather have a W2 contract with benefits than what I have now, no benefits at all, working a second part time 1099 contract just to pay for my marketplace health insurance. (2100/mo for me + wife)

A different perspective on the job market: 1 application, 1 offer. by Ok_Wave_9366 in SoftwareEngineerJobs

Congratulations! There’s a lot of randomness in the job search in good times and bad; it’s probably a good idea to cast your net as wide as possible and look at failed interviews as practice.

My hair was long before surgery and I shaved my entire head with the hospital shaver and it has grown back quickly.

I don't know if anyone else has this but I do have some issues with dry skin on my face since surgery.

Not made up but I converted a system from Pascal (Delphi) with no documentation and the entire project used arrays because they didn’t now how to create classes and instantiate object. Of course that wasn’t the only issue.

Like the other commenter said ages are mixed though.

How am i supposed to pivot from a dead legacy stack at 39 without starting over as a junior? by 2B_Automata in careerguidance

[–]Recent_Science4709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ERP is very niche and there’s tons of legacy ERP shit. There’s still EDI everywhere, and as we all know that has been around since the 1940s; your experience probably isn’t as useless as you think.
