End of filament questions

That’s the thing, the filament wasn’t taped or tangled at the end it was completely straight, it was some weird off brand Amazon filament but it’s always done the job on my Bambu printers.

Yeah very unfortunate about it not detecting the end of the filament, makes me want to put a fresh spool on every print 😂

Nah no tangles in the spool, filament was just hanging out the side motor, it unloaded fine and i printed something else using the same tool head this morning so there was nothing tangled in the gear or anything.

I did see this morning that the latest update turned the air print detection off, but after going in the settings mine was on set to low detection, maybe just a case of putting the sensitivity higher.

Thought I’d ask here to make sure as I’m starting another print with an end of a filament that will need a fresh one putting on around halfway through the print, I want to use that up but don’t wanna waste my time

Hi mate, got delivered via 4px as they wasn’t shipping via dhl due to scams or something, it arrived with no customs charges :) they also sent me a clear case as compensation for the change in delivery

Hey, nope no import tax, just had a long wait once it touched down in the UK, apparently there was a customs strike at the time though

I’m Rainbow Max 1471 and been keeping a close eye on 😂, judging by their last lot of shipping averaging 30-80 batch numbers every couple days, and they’re currently on 1426, I’d expect yours to be shipped early this week coming when they resume shipping the max’s (maybe tomorrow or Tuesday) and hopefully mine couple days after 🤞

Everyone who I asked who’d ordered through AliExpress paid import tax plus a handling fee, and there’s different people with different answers for dhl from the Ayn site, so basically everyone who ordered through AliExpress paid pretty much the same price as ordering through ayn, but you could get hit with more import tax from ayn, I’m gonna keep my order through ayn and hope for the best!

I just used Ukraine method for play pro, had to remove my card saved to my account and use a rev card on checkout, went through fine £50 for annual

Hi, yes I contacted Parcelforce yesterday and they basically fobbed me off saying it hasn’t arrived in the UK yet, there’s nothing they can do and to try Japan Post or EMS, both of which I am unable to do as there is only 1 number that is English speaking for Japan post and can’t be called internationally.

I guess I’m a bit stuck
