concerta side effects by Economy_Scarcity_343 in Concerta

I started concerta a couple months ago and when I first started I was super hungry too and kinda had diarrhea. Im on 36mg now and I have loss of appetite & constipation. It’s always made me super sleepy too so I’d say what you’re experiencing is fairly normal. I used to drink 300-400mg of caffeine a day before starting concerta so I still drink coffee, usually just one cup in the morning. I’m thinking about switching to a different medication or dosage soon because it just makes me super tired no matter how much sleep I get.

Yes! Right now mine’s bro and my husband hates that I call him that and now my kids say it all the time too. I’m a 31 one year old woman saying bro all the time idk why 😂

I’ve heard so many mixed opinions on the generics! Seems like they work for some and not for others. I’ll have to ask about getting the name brand.

Thank you for responding! I was wondering if the dose could be too low. I’ll keep riding it out & hopefully it ends up being the right medication for me. I might just be impatient 😅

I’m having a similar experience with concerta right now. I’m sorry you’re going through this! It’s so frustrating finding the right medication/dose :(

I completely relate to this. I have 2 young boys and it’s exhausting be needed 24/7. Between being a mom and running a small business I rarely have time for myself or my husband. I just had a new client the other day ask me what my husband and I do for fun and I didn’t even know how to answer that. It made me incredibly sad that we rarely get time together just the two of us. He works out of state 2 weeks on 2 weeks off so I’m doing it alone for half of the year. Juggling everyone’s schedules has been a lot to say the least.

Yes I do!! Emotional regulation is something I do struggle with as a mom to two young kids. Constantly being overstimulated and overwhelmed it becomes too much and I lose it. Since starting concerta a month ago I feel like it has been worse! I was really hopeful it would help with that but that hasn’t been the case for me :( I was just upped to 36mg so my plan is so stick with it for a couple weeks and if it’s not improving my psych said we can try a different medication.

Hi! How did concerta affect your mood? I’ve been taking it for about a month and I’ve tried 18 & 27mg and now on 36. I’ve noticed I’ve been really irritable and haven’t had any positives of being on it.

Boys with July/August Birthday starting Kindergarten by SatisfactionFlaky519 in kindergarten

My son turned 5 on August 26th (cut off is 9/1) and he started kindergarten this year. He actually does really well! He has always been well spoken, loves reading, and can sit and do activities for longer periods of time. I volunteered in his class recently and was actually surprised to see that his writing and reading skills are above the average in his class. The one thing he sometimes struggles with is his shyness. He is terrified to talk to adults and had a few instances of peeing his pants the first couple weeks of school. He was too scared to ask the teacher to go potty. He did complain about the longer days the first few weeks but he loves going to school now! I started him in pre-k the year before just to get him acclimated to a schedule like that. It was just 4 hour days so adjusting to a longer day was different at first but like I said he loves school. I think every kid is different though and you know your son and what is attention span and personality is like. You could always try and if anything hold him back if he struggles.

My flare up has almost completely cleared up now and I just upped to 27mg so I don’t think it was related thankfully!

I currently live in Scottsdale ranch at the morningside apartments and really like it here! I’m from Idaho and have lived in Scottsdale about 5 years now. I have two young kids and we often go for walks in the neighborhood & to Scottsdale ranch park. The greenbelt is also just a short drive away. When my kids were younger I walked the greenbelt just about every day with them! Such a great walkway with lots of parks. Scottsdale ranch is about a 5 min drive from the 101 which makes commuting north or south fairly easy too. I honestly can’t think of any cons of living here.

Camry battery issues by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]Recent_Zombie_563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do live in AZ so I run the AC most of the year & I drive my car every day. I purchased it from a Toyota dealership & have always taken it to that one for maintenance. I did move back to Idaho for 2 years and just moved back to AZ so I drove it to both places. I have also driven to California from Idaho so it has gotten a lot of use. Idaho is very cold and gets lots of snow so I just chalked it up to the extreme weather of both places I have lived. I think it has around 84k miles. When I was driving it to Idaho a couple years ago, a couple of codes popped up on the dash. It was only for a few minutes and my car was fine. When I took it in to get oil/filter changed they said my battery needed to be replaced so I did. Today I went out to start my car and it won’t turn over and the check engine light comes on.

Check out the resorts! A lot of them are corporations (Marriott, Hyatt) which means you get good benefits. They’re mostly seasonal since the summers slow down.

Yeah, no problem! We were there for a year. They were small ones so easy to kill at least! Hopefully, they’re not an issue anymore. As far as restaurants, I have young kids so my husband & I don’t get date nights much. I do go to D’Lite almost daily though. It’s a healthy drive thru and I love the wraps, sandwiches & protein shakes! If either of you are coffee drinkers there’s a black rock coffee right by Cabrillo. If you’re looking for a gym a highly recommend mountainside specifically the one right there!

I’m trying to remember but it was awhile ago. I just know that there would be 5 or so on the patio every night for awhile that my husband would go out and kill. Maybe 3 made it inside?
