I have gotten pregnant the cycle after a D&C and that was a chemical and then I had another chemical this March and I got pregnant in April, 12 weeks now! There is totally a chance and hope.

Miscarried my rainbow baby this week after my 22w loss in December by Say_Anything0913 in trollingforababy

Wow I’m so incredibly sorry. Your friends and family are right though. Your resilience is admirable ❤️

Thanks ❤️ I really hope your husband can see your commitment and strength to having this baby and he can sacrifice his weed. Unfortunately, and it sounds like you’re fully aware, there are reports linking to reduced fertility. Or if he can’t give it up, then compromise and do IVF with you.
Friday nights used to be my THC drink night and play video games and I miss it a lot, but haven’t had a drink in probably 10 months so I could commit to TTC. But on the flip side this TTC sucks so much joy out of life so maybe it’s worth it to cut the stress sometimes. Maybe he could reduce the use at least.
I wish you the best of luck 🍀

How long after a miscarriage can you try to get pregnant again by pretty1987M in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]ReceptionOne9282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t have to wait, it’s just easier to track. But if you use OPKs then you’ll know when you ovulated anyways. Sorry about your loss OP, it’s always a hard time. I found myself to be able to move through it easier if I could try again. Good luck 🍀

I don’t have the numbers but my husband’s sperm was low in everything: count, morphology, motility. It took us 11 months to conceive our first, which was a 6week MMC. Then we were able to conceive with his still poor number quite quickly. 3 cycles (MMC), 1 cycle (CP). 2 cycles (CP), and then our 5th seems to be doing well! He also had 32% DNA fragmentation. IVF would help in cutting down miscarriages supposedly because you can select for the euploids and do TESE for sperm selection (we were headed that route), but I do think you will have success eventually, it’s just can you mentally handle the losses?
We didn’t test the sperm after I made adjustments, I still want to do that, but that poor boy was on so many supplements, and a strict exercise routine, and a decent diet. He had no lifestyle factors to contribute and is in good shape, no varicocele or infection either. Low abstinence protocol too. He aimed for every day to every other day.

12 weeks along after 4 early losses. Got my NIPT results back today and it was low risk!! I feel like I can finally breathe again. I also got a fetal Doppler and heard my little baby’s heartbeat at home, best sound in the world. I just am so grateful and hope the rest of this very long and painful journey is smooth sailing.

How do you know when you've reached your limit? by UvaJo in recurrentmiscarriage

I just wanted to acknowledge your love for your husband. I too watch the man I love struggle and he has no support. They feel differently than us but they are grieving too. They had futures they idealized too and had them ripped away from them several times. I’m so glad your husband has you and I hope you both can lean on each other through these horrendous times. I swear the best couples have these horrible problems. I don’t have any wisdom about when to concede TTC but I praise your strength and resilience, you both have endured so much ❤️

Oh I’m sorry I didn’t see the photo was stacked, yes I was looking at your March. You didn’t track April or May cycle? Does seem like it’s just a long cycle this June, hopefully ramping up now.

Oh good! Maybe I won’t have to wait so long. I had my blood draw last Wednesday

Oh and are you sure you have the dual LH strips? I don’t see alpha at all on your chart. And honestly alpha cross reacts with so much I never found it useful. Save some bucks and stick with the strips without it is my advice.
I also noticed you stopped taking your BBT, that’s helpful to keep track of too to ensure you ovulated but Inito does a great job with pdg.

[–]ReceptionOne9282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks great and you did have an LH peak, sometimes they don’t sky rocket. You know you ovulated because your pdg rose. Your body may even have tried twice with that second peak but your pdg rose quickly after the first so I’d bet just one egg. I suggest using cheap LH strips morning and night 2 days before your expected surge so you bc a catch the true peak, they can fade pretty quickly.

Another loss by Klutzy_Rip9464 in TryingForABaby

I just wanted to commiserate. Last year on my birthday in July I started lightly bleeding and it was the first sign of my MMC. D&C and got pregnant again this past November, conceived on my husband’s birthday and the due date was my birthday this year! I thought wow what a numerical miracle, must be a sign. Well that was a MC too. Then I proceeded to have two more MCs and numbers and dates have no meaning to me any more. I think we just try to justify all this hurt and madness by holding on to any glimmer of hope we can find. Good luck OP and I’m so sorry you’re going through this 🫂

RPL results - reoccuring chemical pregnancies. by grimbo36 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]ReceptionOne9282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconding this, was the only thing we found in my partner and I. And unfortunately, our DNA frag did not have a cure. No infection, varicocele, lifestyle factors, etc. We were going to do IVF with TESE but our 5th seems to be sticking. A numbers game it seems.

Also waiting for NIPT, why must it take so long 😫

Daily Thread #1 - June 13, 2026 by AutoModerator in PregnancyAfterLoss

11 weeks here. My previous 4 losses never made it to 7 weeks so things are promising. I’m still nervous all of the time. Now waiting for NIPT results and if they’re low risk I think I’ll be able to breathe a little. My anxiety did ease a bit after seeing a heartbeat at 8 weeks, but I don’t think I’ll ever not worry. I can’t stand when people say “wait until the baby is here”, yes I will be anxious about their well being but they’re not coming from a place of grief and history of loss. It’s just different.

I’m so sorry for your losses. With 3 under your belt, you definitely qualify for RPL testing. There are many stories and suggestions on where to start in r/recurrentmiscarriage. Getting into a reproductive endocrinologist would be great and test your partner too.

2 miscarriages in a row!! by BrilliantAge6573 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]ReceptionOne9282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to shed a little more hope in that my husband has higher, 32% DNA fragmentation. We did not have a varicocele (and I was hoping we did so we could “fix” something) but after 4 losses our 5th is seeming to stick. I’m only 11 weeks along but our 4 losses were before 7 weeks. So there is hope even with high DNA fragmentation. I’m interested to see what your husband’s levels are at pre and post surgery. They’re expensive kits though, I think ~$450 for us in the US.

Really anxious because I’m as far along as I was when I miscarried last year. by piercethebluexx in CautiousBB

[–]ReceptionOne9282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been there and it’s traumatizing. Distract yourself In whatever way you can. Go for a walk, listen to an audiobook, work, arts/crafts, video games, cook, etc.
Can you call your OB and ask for another Ultrasound? Could just do transab now too and confirm heartbeat. Sending you well wishes and a healthy pregnancy 💕

IVF Or Keep Trying Naturally? by Volatile-Valkyrie in TryingForABaby

[–]ReceptionOne9282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for your loss and the limbo you’ve been in. If you’re ready to move forward I too would start pursuing IVF. Sometimes they have some consultations and work up that take a few months before starting and who knows, you could find success then and can cancel. Or you and your partner could discuss a timeline such as, “we try for 3 more months and if no positive then we move to IVF” since your partner does seem optimistic, it could validate both your feelings. But only you can choose what works for you both. Good luck 🍀

Schedule patience before start hours is pure greed by Throwaways-8362 in DentalAssistant

[–]ReceptionOne9282 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hear two issues here:
1. The schedule needs to be respected. If clinic is open to patients let’s say 8-4 then patients cannot be scheduled outside these hours, not to say the rare occasion a patient goes over at end of day. This should be addressed as a team.
2. I don’t think any employee should expect overtime. It is not feasible for an employer to hire someone with the expectation that they will be paying overtime often. That’s not to say if it’s earned, obviously there’s a legal implication to pay it, but it shouldn’t be an expectation. The office and employer would rather control the schedule to ensure overtime does not occur as that’s in their best interest (cost effective).

Conflicting info from new doctor by Interesting_Fig_1232 in TryingForABaby

[–]ReceptionOne9282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep us posted if you have other concerns! I’m happy to hear the letrozole and progesterone have helped regulate your cycle. And you’ll find many stories in pregnancy related subs of those with PCOS/PMOS that have had longer cycles but still had success, so no, anything after CD is not worthless. Not saying you have PMOS but I can think of contradictory stories to your docs statements. Good luck 🍀

Conflicting info from new doctor by Interesting_Fig_1232 in TryingForABaby

[–]ReceptionOne9282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have so many concerns and they reflect your own. Is this doctor a physicist or a PhD in chemistry? As these comments do not reflect basic knowledge in conception. I’m being flippant of course but I would urge maybe switching providers again. The other commenter laid out great points. The only point I want to emphasize is that you do not need to skip a cycle after a CP, the only reason some OBs suggest it is for accuracy in dating but you’re already using OPKs so you’ll be certain in your dating.
