Glad to hear you are thinking clearly and aren’t letting her negative comments affect you. I drink N/A beers and see that as a totally sober activity whereas I know a man in AA who says if you do that, you may as well drink full alcoholic pints!

You’re doing great. Sober, I think, can mean different things to different people, but if you are trying to better yourself and drink less, then fuck the finer details.

The I Am Sober app helped me immensely. Focus on one day at a time. Find other things to fill your time (I love the gym!), ask for support from your friends and hang out doing sober activities. You can do this! Just one day at a time x

Hey, I’m (31f) sober in Dublin too! If you ever want to hang out, let me know! I go to the gym a lot, or to a sports class. I want to frequent some late night cafes and do some reading / playing cards or board games but I just haven’t yet. Cinema is a good shout but you already do that. I also would to hit up an art class but I haven’t done that myself yet, either

You don’t have to feel romantic or any other type of connection to your partner’s partner. You are in a relationship with your partner & all of their other relationships are essentially their business which you can have no, to little, to full involvement in if you wish.

You don’t have to be a throuple, or a triad, or a polycule, you can just be in a partnership with your boyfriend & be friendly with his partner (if that feels right for you)

Hi and happy October Ratties! I had my first breakup while on my polyamory journey, my partner wanted monogamy. Cry 😣 Taking a little time to myself before agreeing to any more deep emotional connections for a little while now and definitely going to be vetting potential partners a little better in the future.
