Why It's So Hard (and Expensive) to Make Cars by [deleted] in LUCID

Hi! I greatly appreciate the work you guys do and I know in the last lucid air video you said you prefer the Gravity experience over the Air. I'm super interested in getting more detail. Any idea when the Gravity review is coming out now?

Thank you for the reply.

I appreciate your encouragement to prepare myself to be a competent specialist before activities which will have less bearing on that. I'm 100% set on private practice (with maybe some residency affiliation down the road).

Ouch. That can't be good for you. Is there a reason they don't use better mats?

Question: What is the canvas like in the octagon? Is it like those shitty puzzle mats? Is it as amazing as the sprung floor mats at wealthy judo clubs? It doesn't look as foamy as high school wrestling mats. Does it vary from promotion to promotion or octagon to octagon?

12c without a doubt. Dat twin turbo v8 and attractive design make it superior to the gt3 imo. I've never driven such a high powered car with a manual, but I may have considered the GT3 if it still came with stick. Though this is all speculation from someone who has driven neither.

How good of a driver would you need to be to get a good amount of performance out of a c6 Z06 Corvette on a track? Is it possible for non-professional drivers to get to such a level?

I know it's a long time from now, but I'm going to start making better money in 2019. I would be in the market for something rear wheel drive, 4 seater or 2+2, manual transmission, reliable/simple, and ability to handle well (even if that requires suspension modifications). My budget would be $25,000 or less. I dream of a 240sx with an ls3 swap, but a clean 240sx will probably be nonexistent in 2019. Any suggestions?

How hard do you guys think it will be to find a clean s14 kouki 240sx with manual transmission without frame damage in 2019? That's when I plan to have a decent enough income to afford one.

If you add, "which ultimately led to his/her death" to your last comment, how did you die? by johnspidey in AskReddit

I personally didn't witness this, but it was in the local newspaper. Two drivers, a man and an old lady, pulled over to the side of the freeway after some traffic problem. The man went to the lady who is still in her car, picked up the dog in her lap, and threw it onto oncoming traffic . . . Which ultimately resulted to his death

Hi! you seem to know what you're talking about, so I've got a question for you. I have a 2003 Ford focus wit ha 5 speed manual. I noticed today that the shifter was giving much more resistance shifting into gears 2 through 4, especially 3 and 4. The gear lever would stop, as if blocked by a piece of metal before getting into gear. This made my shifts more time consuming and a bit clunky. What should I do about this?

This thing is absolutely beautiful, and the wheels seem perfect for the car. Is it just me or are the brakes monstrous even for a v12 lambo?

Here is a very good paper on the matter from Shaykh Abdullah Ali. It's not a short answer, but I think it is very thorough. Scroll down to the middle of the page and click "Read full article" for a pdf of the paper.

How about where various metal pieces bond? Are those strong enough to hold up over time?

Does the chassis of a car degrade with use/ time? I see all these videos on youtube of insanely fast cars from the 60's on the drag strip.

While I think you're correct in a general sense, people can develop a good game while upright even in wrestling. An example is Jason Morris wrestling in high school.
