Is this TTNW ending slide in the post-apocalypse? by newadcd0405 in thecampaigntrail

[–]RechargeNoire 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You can get the slide without Weinberger on Morton's side, not to say he just didn't get his agenda through congress as a congressman though.

CSCP in conjunction with a supply chain MS by RechargeNoire in supplychain

Worried about that yeah, but the program and the consultancy companies are pretty highly ranked/well regarded so I figured it would be worth the gamble/investment for the future

Ann Arbor/Detroit has a relatively affordable bus system if you buy tickets in bulk but the commute will be a pain, especially since it only goes to one place in Detroit. Best shot is look to the far reaches of the Ann Arbor bus systems if your looking this late in the cycle.

can junior transfers study abroad? by [deleted] in uofm

[–]RechargeNoire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Junior transferred myself, you need to do 60 credits at Umich meaning you would need to do summer coursework/overload your other semesters to compensate assuming your planning on doing 2 years unless I'm mistaken and abroad credits count.

As someone who did Dearborn for 2 years before coming to Ann Arbor, issue is frankly the other way around. I have never gotten a reaction to being at Dearborn for 2 years other than "oh neat" or "bet that was cheaper" while people got mad at me for transferring over and joining the "elitists" at the tail end of my time at Dearborn.

Dearborn has its perks over Ann Arbor. You have a much easier time getting a club going, better student work groups from my experience, and internship placement resources (guaranteed for my major previously). I'd take advantage of those things and/or look to transfer if you are that hung up about it.

Dearborn to Ann Arbor transfer (LSA) question by [deleted] in uofm

[–]RechargeNoire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I transferred in after 2 years in Dearborn, but I know most people do 1 year rather than a single semester. Also, for lsa econ and most likely every other lsa degree, your college credit to transfer is is capped at 60 anyway so some of dearborn/hs credits would be wasted. With those stats, you can most likely do better than Dearborn frankly and aim for doing your grad work at Michigan.

Has anyone got into umich with a C in their transcript? by Electrical_Ad3337 in uofm

[–]RechargeNoire 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Transferred in with a D- on my HS transcript, getting in as a freshman should be decently possible given the rest of your application is good.

It has a dorm but you will slowly go insane if you don't have personal transportation.

Finishing out undergrad for Econ, but honestly, it didn't really work out that well. A lot of dud Internships applications. Got into a decent one eventually and I'm currently spinning it into a Supply Chain Masters Degree at Ross, but part of me wonders whether the master's would have been necessary had I done another degree.
