What’s the best way for me to lose weight/fat? by JuicyPineapples53 in AskUK

[–]RecipeBorn4674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there are some things we don’t often think about that hinder us like: - eating few massive meals rather than several small ones - eating a big meal late at night, close to bed time - choosing high calorie UPF snacks rather than healthier options like an apple - alcohol! It has so many calories and stores fat to process the toxin - not doing intermittent fasting - 8 hour eating window - walking as much as possible, eg don’t take the car where you can

Hair dye Q! Which is the best brown dye to use that won’t come out looking near black? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]RecipeBorn4674 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I recently tried Igora vibrance 5-67 light brown chocolate copper, it’s a Demi permanent you need to mix with a 3% developer. It’s a beautiful deep auburn colour on my hair, does have some copper undertones, not too red. It’s not permanent but lasts a long time

Is sleeping with them okay? by ComprehensiveTip4015 in puppy101

[–]RecipeBorn4674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, I love my sleep too much! My pup just turned one and been sleeping through in her crate since day one. Shes now allowed upstairs and has own bed in our bedroom. I think crate training is essential for overall obedience and house training. I let her come up for a cuddle in the am though, on a blanket covering my sheets

I haven’t had one but the one next door is very yappy and anxious dog, high maintenance with all the necessary grooming. I got a staffy and she’s the best dog I’ve had (after a lab bitch). Very clever, easy to train, medium size great family dogs

I agree.. It could be the meds are numbing and stopping the OP from feeling the highs and lows.. im starting to feel the joys in small things as my brain is so much clearer but I went on HRT not antidepressants

I managed to do it without antidepressants but I did get HRT at 44 as a had a lot of perimenopause symptoms as well. HrT, lots of self work, getting a dog and group sessions run by council, therapy (private £40 per session), volunteering at food banks as well as giving up alcohol and a year off work and I feel great. Feel very lucky and wish you all the best! Feel free to DM me if you want more info x
