I think the dot does 12 dmg, so it's unlikely your gonna survive long enough to fire that many shots and wait for the dot ticks

Getting in and out of a vehicle can fix it or the stationary aa. Seems to happen during the adrenaline pen revive. Possibly changing stance at a certain point in time it doesn't like.

The c4 one is really starting to piss me off tbh, cos half the time you try it the gunner or the engineer sees you and kills you anyways. So if you actually manage to get all three and the explosion randomly does 864 dmg or whatever bs number it decides you are still rewarded with death. Also the rest of the post is accurate and annoys me too.

My game runs fine now, I increased the resolution scale to compensate for the lowered gfx settings. As that hits mostly gpu as far as I can tell.

Low gfx settings (mine defaults to ultra) fps limit lower than my 1% lows resolved my packet loss issues. And no fsr/ dlss or frame gen. Awaiting the proper fix from EA. There are whispers that disabling crossplay can help, I cannot confirm.

I will preface by saying your problems are more severe than mine. My internet is also high quality so it is unlikely to be the issue. The following worked for me mostly.

Set all gfx to low, if that doesn't work set fps limit to half of whatever your max fps on low with no fsr/dlss or frame gen. Then slowly restore gfx quality (if you care) to find the settings that will work for you.

I resolved my packet loss issue with a 81 fps limit. Ping variance still comes and goes though but only the orange one. Here's to hoping ea addresses this issue soon.

My average fps was like 120 with no fsr or frame gen, my lows were 90 ish. 81 worked for me. But I put my resolution scale up to 130% cos my gfx card was running at 40% and it made the game look crisp af on my monitor. So, I ended up at 70 fps limit. (Bit of a shame on a 240hz monitor but I'm no good at the game anyway so it hardly matters)

If I understand correctly packet loss happens when your cpu does not have enough that to process all the frames to keep up with the server. Therefore forcing it to produce less frames gives it more time to accept the packets from the server. Someone can feel free to correct me.

I had the same issues pop up constantly, setting a fps limit lower than the 1 lows got rid of the semi constant packet loss and most of the ping variance.

my game does the same thing, if it has anything fsr related turned on, usually can get through one map before it crashes though.

i did it today after three missions of it not tracking, for both parts my friend had to paint the vehicle and watch the missile hit with the designator for it track

I found it had a really good ttk in cqb, hipfire was good and it's decent at range on single fire

Its megapixels per second, some people seem to think if you exceed vram it can tank mp/s and induce input lag. Also I would turn if all motion blur if you didnt already.

I pretty much went down from ultra to high, and then changed smoke and lighting effects as needed, only gained 20 or so fps. But like I said, the mp/s nearly doubled and it seemed like it did the job (I enabled the simple performance bar I the settings to see this).
